Sounds like Bears are hiring Bill Lazer to be there new OC, and as PFT article said, it's unlikely their HC is gonna give up play calling duties, so the OC will probably be very active with the QB.

I couldn't help but think/wonder, are they trying to set up for a FA QB?

Lazer has spend time with QB Ryan Tannehill who'll be a FA this off-season... and the one I was thinking might be more likely, has time with Andy Dalton, whose team has the #1 pick, and it's thought they could grab a new QB.

Dalton was fairly good when the talent around him didn't suck... but then almost all of it disappeared, and he sucked. On a new team, he might be able to play (which is why I want him as a cheap backup, which probably isn't gonna happen).

But I just wondered, if this season goes bad, could they target Andy Dalton with the help of his former OC.

I will be happy if they grab either Dalton or Tannahil.. Looks similar to me as the Flaco deal with the Broncos. As long as they are not focusing on a good long term defense.

I was wearing my full Packers 4 Super Bowl win coat, and my 2010 conference champs hat. Stopped at WalMart. There were 2 Bears fans, one wearing a “Trubisky “ jersey. He picked up a 6and a half foot giant teddy bear, (which costs $130!) so his friend could take a picture of him with it. I just stood there , watched, and smiled! The guy put it down and I said “aren’t you going to take it home with you?” He laughed and said “it wouldn’t fit it n my car!”
I didn’t tease them or anything. They seemed to be real decent guys!
Besides......I figured they have suffered enough!😂
