I'm not sure I've seen this discussed. The Jaire Alexander Pass Interference was the best penalty I've seen in a while.
1st & 10 at DET 25
(12:07 - 4th) D.Blough pass incomplete deep left to C.Lacy. PENALTY on GB-J.Alexander, Defensive Pass Interference, 30 yards, enforced at DET 25 - No Play.
Alexander stumbled and was falling and in a heads up play he tackles the WR to save what was likely an easy walk-in TD. Ultimately, it saved the Packers 4 points.
As good of a penalty that was, the Preston Smith penalty was equally dumb.
3rd & 7 at GB 42
(11:20 - 4th) (Shotgun) PENALTY on GB-P.Smith, Neutral Zone Infraction, 5 yards, enforced at GB 42 - No Play.
I can't imagine the Lions trying a 61 yard FG while you're up only 4 points.
