Well, we know Rashan Gary won't be considered for ROY.
What a terrible pick he was!

I'm not saying Gary ever will develop, but with how raw he is, you got to realize he's not going to be a finished product in the first two years... just no way.
And that's true for a number of Gute's great athletic picks, great athletes that have a chance to develop into great players if they get time and fix the problems with them, that made them drop in the first place.
To be fair, he hasnât been given a lot of playing time. He started off having to play behind the Smithâs. Difficult as a rookie to take the starting spot from either of them. I do think that pick couldâve been used at a different position, though. Maybe he will turn it on & get on the field more.

I mean I have argued you need three pass rushers as they need to rotate and in case of injuries, but that pick was clearly looking three years down the road, if not 5, past the Smith contracts.
Whatever it takes to get you through the day.

Gary and Burks both appear to have been poor selections...alas. With and aging Bulaga and limited depth, we are going to need a couple of more standout OL picks

BUT the guy's lack of physical style made him look more like a great track guy, than football player... I just don't think he's mentally tough enough to maximize his great athletic gifts in the NFL. I think he still has potential, but he's competing with Safeties in coverage, or needs to get better physical and learn to wrap up, because his tackle attempts too often only put himself on the ground.
