Let's now review with the benefit of hindsight:
Baldwin should have said, Rodgers is just bad. It is clear GB has zero chance to win SB with Rodgers as QB
Rodgers’ QBR over last 2 years is 52. By comparison Jay Cutler’s 9 seasons as a starter he averaged 5 years near mid 60s and 4 in low 50s. Note: QBR is the superior measure to quarter back play over passer rating, and Rodgers manipulates PR by taking sacks instead of INCs, doesn’t run but throws for TDs, being so INT averse a player must be wide open for him to throw, etc.
And actually, Rodgers’ lousy stats overrate Rodgers’ value, because he is a choker a selfish player and a classless tool of a human being.
In SF playoff game Rodgers sucked in 1st half. And his refusal to go after that fumbled snap shows what a clown this guy is. QBs are taught from peewee league that on a fumbled snap they are the first to know there is a problem and they need to be ready to dive on the ball. Rodgers was first to know and last to react. What a loser, what a tool.
And at the end of the game we were all thinking: hail mary, onside recovery, hail mary, 2 pt conv. But, Rodgers was thinking, “no INT, I need to preserve my passer rating.” He made zero attempt to put the ball on his covered receivers and hope for a PI or miracle bounce. What a loser, what a tool.
FYI: In second half there was no pressure so he played better.
V. Seattle Rodgers had a great half because there was no pressure. But, because of a short drive [2:36] that ended in a long TD and 2 failed short drives [1:18 and 3:06]. Seattle got back into game and had the ball at 4:54 with a chance to win. With 7:18 left Rodgers had ball 1st and 10 at Seattle 41 and FG guarantees OT, but instead of hitting wide open Jones at 38, who gets at least 3-4 more yards, jerk-ass took an 8 yard sack; giving Seattle the control to win against a gassed D because he could not sustain a 2nd half drive.
And on tool of a human, still is at odds with his entire family, his actions as player rep were deplorable and did ya see that podcast interview by his girlfriend? Who incidentally blames everyone else for her problems as well.
