Other guys get open. But like I said before, by the time Rodgers sees them, they are no longer open. And he doesn’t have that trust of the newer guys that he has with Adams, and he had with Cobb. I felt we never should have got rid of Cobb. Rodgers knew what he would do in any given situation. Like if a play broke down, he knew what Cobb would do to get open. He doesn’t have that with the new guys, plus the new offense. That makes it harder to know where a guy will be. For 14 years he had the same offense, and could probably do it in his sleep. Now he has to learn it like a rookie coming in and starting.
It can be hard to teach an old dog new tricks.
