Jake Kumerow looks great, again. He made some impressive catches.
And Trevor Davis actually looked like a WR! He made some great catches.
He surprised me.
Davante Adams was...well....Davente Adams!
Other WRs didn’t do anything great.
I think Jimmy Graham will be a bigger part of the offense this year. JMO of course.
We didn’t have our 2 best RBs out there.

JMon Moore had the dropsies as usual.
Kizer had his ups and downs as usual.
Alexander was covering like a blanket but Davante Adams made, what for most receivers, would have been impossible catches against him.

That's just a question of nerve, getting used to being out there on the big stage. It seemed to me, he was making the correct reads, consistently. Remember, this dude is learning his 6th new offensive system in 6 years. I mean damn.

Kizer does needs to work on his deep ball accuracy. I wouldn't mind seeing more of him. It's a relatively small sample size.

How did the offense look, overall? Lotta screens and traps? Misdirection? Getting the ball out?

LaFleur is a big tempo guy. To me that means, NO MORE LULLS. But we shall see.

Not having your best RBs in there, and constantly changing players, doesn’t give you much to go on. No continuity when you aren’t keeping the same guys in for more then a couple plays.

As I said before, the standouts were Davonte, Kumerow and Trevor Davis.
I ripped on Davis in the past, and if he keeps doing what he did last night, I will end up eating my words! (Happily, I might add!)

buckeyepackfan (18h) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (18h) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.

dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
