There has been quite a bit of chatter about Jaire Alexander stepping up another notch. This should probably make us all excited, but for some reason, I am nervous. I think Jaire will be a good CB for years to come. I expect somewhat of a sophomore slump and then he'll really take off in year 3.

Here's another person saying Jaire is ready to break out.

My question for YOU is ... what do you think? Is Jaire going to have a break out season or slump?

I have a feeling he’s going to do great this year. With the new D pieces in place, it should take some pressure off our D-backs, making it easier for them to make plays.

I don't see a slump for JA. I don't know if he will take a significant leap forward but if he plays like last year with just a little more confidence I will be happy.

A better DL/OLB and more depth in the secondary is going to help him do his job.

My only concern with Jaire is if he can stay healthy for a full 16 games. Otherwise I fully expect Jaire to have a great season (Alexander the Great?).

I couldn't agree more. Further, as with all other veterans (other than FA's), this will be their second year in the system. Also an improved safety position will help and cover-up any mistakes.

I am looking for an excellent year for Alexander the Great

Being a person that hibernates in the offseason... Fuck it. I'm calling it. Jaire Alexander ties the franchise record for interceptions and leads a staggering resurgence of the Packers secondary to lead the Packers to a Super Bowl berth, losing to the Colts 24-27 as Mason Crosby miraculously hits BOTH uprights without getting the ball through to potentially tie the game with time expiring in OT1.

P, you forgot to add, the Press, and half our posters will say “the loss will be Rodgers fault.”
