Ray Nitschke was FUN to watch playing.

Thanks, NSD! I enjoyed him bobbing & weaving as he lumbered down the field...

I'm using Firefox. When I first open the thread, I don't see the video. But if I hit refresh, it shows up.

I got to meet Ray back around 1990. A friend of mine had him for an autograph signing. My friend knew that Nitschke was my favorite Packer when I was growing up, and told Ray. No one was at the table except my friend and Ray, so my friend said “Ray, I want you to meet my friend AL. He’s your biggest fan!” With that Nitschke stood up and stuck his hand out and said “nice to meet you! Why don’t you come behind the table and sit down and we’ll talk about the old days.” I sat with him for about an hour and just talked. Then he said “AL, have you ever tried on a Super Bowl ring?” Of course I hadn’t, and he took off his SB one ring and let me try it on. (Of course it didn’t fit!)
But it is one of my best memories. What a class act!

Yay! I can see it in Firefox too, and I don't even have to refresh.

Anyone know why highlight reels from this area always seem to run in slow motion? They're so fluid that they almost look like they were shot on video instead of film.
