Kizer probably more talented but from what we've seen out of Boyle I fricken love his style. When he got his shot in preseason he didn't play it safe like we've seen from so many young players he went out and did his thing. Guy had a shit college career and still went out there taking some risk to show his ability, I love that. I'm open for real open competition for that spot. Kizer is only 23 still and hasn't had much stability being a part of 2 dumpster fires his first 2 seasons in the league so I wouldn't give up on him yet either.

Trade Kizer and a draft pick for Josh Rosen after they draft Kyler Murray.

We did not give up "the equivalent of a 1st" for Kizer. Nor did we get "the short end of the stick" in that trade. We traded a guy we were going to cut anyway for someone we were very high on the year prior. If kizer amounts to nothing we still break even just for getting anything in return for Randall.

I mean I get why people are skeptical of Kizer, but I still think he's got the potential. He still hasn't had a full off season in our system. Now again he'll be learning a new system again.

I like Boyle, and I appreciate the way he stands in the pocket, but I'm not giving up on Kizer just yet. Gute liked him well enough to trade the equivalent of a first for him. Dude's got the skills, just needs to put it all together. That's what LeFleur is for.

What are the odds Aaron gets hurt again this year?
