If healthy, I think he's gonna be a pretty good WR2

Packers wide receiver Geronimo Allison got off to a great start last season, with 19 catches for 289 yards and two touchdowns in the first four games. Then he got hurt and missed two games, returned just long enough to get one more catch before getting hurt again, and his season was over. Now, he [more]

Allison has shown on the field that he’s pretty darn good. I like the guy. I hope he can stay healthy and contribute more this coming season.
With him and the kids coming into their 2nd year, we could have a huge year in the passing game,
And Aaron Jones would have pressure taken off him, opening up more running lanes!

I hope he is spectacular, but availability is the key ability and we will see how durable he is.

I agree with you that, apart from his size, there's physically nothing special about him, but that doesn't always make or break a receiver. I don't think he'll be a special player, but I also don't get why you think he's fighting Kumerow for a roster spot.

Allison will be #2 at the start of camp and will not let it go.

Don't get caught up in which spot they are going for.
These guys are crossed trained to play any position.

1/2 of Adams' yards last year came from the slot position.
Allison stays healthy, I'm betting he has a breakout year.

He was on his way last year before getting hurt.

He might not be the biggest or strongest guy, but he runs crisp routes and knows how to get open.
And I think he has earned Rodger’s trust.
Allison gets the job done, even if he’s not “flashy”.

Another thing.

Don't know if it is this article or another where G-Mo talked about how Jordy Nelson took him under his wing and taught him what it took to be a reciever for The Packers.

Hopefully he and Davante are passing on the knowledge to the young guys.

We haven't seen a diva wr in Green Bay in a very long time.

The unselfishness started with Brooks and that group, they passed it on to Driver, then Jennings, Jordy, and James Jones.
