Williams is your utility guy. He can do it all, specializes in pass pro.

Jones is your lighting guy. He was used in the passing game in college, will be used that way much more in LeFluer's system than in Mike's.

Now we need that guy who can take a step and cut it up the middle. Preferably somebody with speed.

Even that shouldn't have to be that big a problem in a zone blocking scheme (Terrell Davis and Arian Foster didn't even crack 4.7 on their 40), since vision and the ability to cut up field and hit the hole are probably the biggest essentials, but he hasn't really impressed all that much in those areas, either.

Utility and versatility are terms I'm beginning to dread in scouting or player reports. Allen Barbre always comes to mind. Very versatile player, could play all 5 positions on the line at a consistent level. Shame that level was always horrible.

Jones I have very high hopes for. If he stays healthy, there's no reason for him to not go over 1.200 yards.

Jamaal gets to top speed like a diesel truck. That doesn't really matter all that much if you have great vision like Foster and Davis or you're a real bruiser like Lacy was (when he was actually in shape), but Jamaal has some work to do one the first category and has shown us he doesn't really fit the second category.

Dude can absolutely get it done, imo. He's just not on the level of Ahman Green or one of those types of guys.

Malcolm Johnson 6'1" 231 lbs age:26 exp: 2 years

Aaron Jones 5'9" 208 lbs age:24 exp: 3 years

Jamaal Williams 6'0" 213 lbs age:23 exp: 3 years

I think Gutey is happy with the stable of rb's.

Both Jones and Williams have showed, when healthy they are a very capable duo.

Bibbs and Carson were brought in by Gutey.
He didn't sign them just to finish out last year.
The guy has a plan.
Thats not saying he won't draft another rb, but I don't think it is high on the list.

I LOVE our combo of Jones and Williams. The big question is, can they remain healthy.
If our WRs can make the jump to make more plays, that will open up the running game a lot more.

Give Jones the chance to be the guy you won't regret it.

As Nerd says he is a good utility back but I don't want him to be our #1 for a several game stretch.

Bibbs is actually a solid back, and I'm wondering if he has anything to offer other than spelling Jones and Williams.
