They staunchly denied it while Mike McCarthy served as head coach, but they're admitting it now. The Packers had grown satisfied, and it was time to rid the team of that feeling. During Wednesday's press conference introducing new coach Matt LaFleur, CEO Mark Murphy explained that he gathered information from nine players (one from each [more]

Murphy did Mike a favor, only it was a year to late .
Can't believe what is being said.

Good luck to the new HC.

This shit wouldn't happen in New England!

Nerd, I disagree.
The talent level is not fine..we've got some very good players, and many below (and well below) average players. And our depth is well below average.

Shout comments merit discussing this topic up anew.

I think it is great to give ML an entire new staff team. They are HIS choices and HE is accountable.

Its just like when an owner of a company retires or sells, you should not allow the element of "we used to do it 'this way'." On the offensive side of the ball "This way" is done....and that's a good thing.

Pure conjecture, but a shiny new dime says that Pettine, after he saw what he saw, wanted to get rid of the old guys as well. Good, he can be accountable too.

OK, I may owe you a shiny new dime...notwithstanding for the foregoing, I am skeptical that Russ Ball would have had much input....perhaps Murphy. I am fine with it regardless.
