Both headlines say OL, but the second article says he's interviewing for OC, not OL. OC makes more sense than OL.

Not exactly like a player moving, but he might have some insights into how to attack Pettine's defense.

But if head coaches still get paid the rest of their contracts even if they don't work, I would assume higher up coaches do as well.

Apparently the Vikings had to ask the Packers for permission (at least, the articles say they did ask).

If it is for OL, that's obviously not a lateral move. Maybe they'll include an assistant HC or run game coordinator label to make it more of a lateral move.

I like Philbin and hope he lands on his feet.

Past that is speculation (at least as far as I know at the moment)... but I think that either means we're open to him leaving and/or not forcing him to stay.

LaFleur wording seemed to be on that he was going to ask certain people to stay (such as Pettine), which made it sound like he was going to give certain coaches the choice of weather they stayed. We don't know which coaches that does and doesn't apply to.

But rumors below this point (which can be false, see the McDaniels to Packers rumors) but the rumors say the Packers have offered for the defensive coordinator, DL coach and TE coach to stay.

And Offensive Coordinator (Philbin) and WR coach have had other teams ask and get permission to interview and offer them contracts.

ST coach reportedly already has a new (former) job with CBS as a football analyst.

The Vikings have “vetted” Packers offensive line coach James Campen for the same position, according to Silverstein (Twitter link). Campen finished his playing career in Green Bay and has been a coach there since 2004. At this point, it’s unclear if LaFleur wants to retain Campen, but he’s expected to have offers if he’s not kept on the Packers’ staff. Minnesota also received permission to interview former Packers interim head coach Joe Philbin for their offensive line gig.

Darn, they're also looking at Campen.... though they "vetted" Campen but either didn't ask, or didn't get permission to interview him (or it wasn't reported). But I'm wondering if that might mean Campen might be kept.

Same article, sounds like both the Packers and Lions are looking at Nathaniel Hackett at an potential offensive coordinator. The biggest connection I can find, is during Hackett's 2013-2014 run as Bills OC, he played against then Patriots Matt Patricia (now Lions head coach), and Mike Pettine was the DC on the 2013 Bills team.
