Writer advocates for going beyond a surface level analysis (Titans finished 27th in points, 25th in yards, etc) and takes a look at some of the factors that played into the Titans Offensive performance.

I found some of the justifications to be tenuous, but the Titans receiving corps (Corey Davis, Taywan Taylor, Tajae Sharpe) was not one that would have instilled fear. Facing 11 teams ranked in the top 12 in the league in scoring defense is a pretty rough schedule.

Tennessee came from behind to beat the Eagles in overtime in September, came within a two-point conversion away from beating the Chargers in October and blew out the Cowboys and Patriots in back-to-back games coming out of the bye in November. They also scored double-digit wins during three straight games in December.
