Surgery recovery is very unpredictable, especially at Rodgers age.
There are so many things that can go wrong.
And then there Is the Packers training staff, I don't have a lot of faith in them.

The knee thing is probably a clean out. You can't move like that (v Jets) with major damage. He'll be fine.

Good point and I agree with that but one would hope they took that into consideration. You do see it quite a bit where players are shut down for particular reason but they wait until after the season for the surgery. That leads me to believe the recovery time won't linger into training camp.

Yeah, my assumption is that you're looking at a few months for recovery and it won't be a concern. But, being a OLD MAN at 32 myself (so old that I keep thinking I'm 33 and having to correct myself!) that keeps healing slower and slower, there's no guarantees. But it seems very unlikely it'd linger that long.

Key word is original diagnosis, it obviously changed. But, they did put him back into the bears game thinking that then.

BAD EMAIL because the address couldn ot be found, or is unable to receive mail.

I was able to evaluate him by his gait on the field. I've already referred him to an orthopedist for an above-the-knee amputation. Problem solved. Permanently.
