What are we at right now? 53 or less? If we're at 53, who gets removed (or on IR) for Jake Kumerow?

One would figure it would be a WR. Either Cobb or Davis.

My long term answer has been release ILB Korey Toomer, as he's a veteran on a one year deal, the 4th ILB and being healthy scratched for the 5th ILB due to STs reasons. With the DBs filling in at dime, the Packers have barely used two ILBers some games ... so we never needed 5 of them...

BUT LB Toomer was recently released to sign S Eddie Pleasant. So my current thought is maybe a Safety?

My top guess is S Kentrell Brice, because that guy took an awful hit and wouldn't be surprised if concussion keeps him on the bench for weeks. WR Trevor Davis and S Raven Greene are.my backup guesses.

Why is Murphy the one reporting this?

I would fully expect this from McCarthy or Gute but why Murphy? Was he just doing an interview and asked about it?

They asked McCarthy.....his answer was “pad level was bad......we have to play better.....we’ll get it fixed”
