If they're out of the playoffs, do you think the Packers should play all the best players, or try to develop the youngsters?
Personally, I'm mixed, because I feel like guys like Rodgers need work on developing chemistry with the young WRs (and checking the ball down)... though guys like Bulaga, I sorta want to make sure he's healthy for next year by not getting a 9 to 12 month injury in a meaningless game this season.
But like if WR Cobb/DT Daniels suddenly gets healthy, should they play him to get the best on the field? Or bench him, to keep trying to develop the young WRs/DL?
Also in theory the Packers could start a winning streak like they did in 2006, that carries into 2007, but those seem more the exceptions than the normal cases.
Also winning with hurt the draft position, currently at the 11th spot... but if they win three more games (Cardinals, Jets and either Lions/Falcons) then they could be looking at the 17th spot...
What are others thoughts? Play the best? Or try to develop the youth? I'm wanting to develop the youth... try to get them ready for next year.
