Peterman actually threw more pick-sixes than touchdowns in his two seasons with the Bills.

True, but I'm not sure the team has helped him that much either... trading away a top LT (for cap space) and top WR, letting another WR go in FA... I think losing two very good interior OL to retirement... and I haven't seen a QB have any development for the Bills since Trent Edwards, who hasn't played for the Bills since 2010.
Not saying Peterman was any good, but I'm not sure any non-running developmental QB stood a chance!
And Peterman was a 5th round guy... they also failed with 4th round Cardale Jones and top 16 overall EJ Manuel... so I don't think that completely falls on Peterman, but him AND those making decisions around him.
