Geez....didn’t I say that just a few days ago???
Peyton Manning called the plays, why not let Rodgers? After all, he does great calling plays in the 2 minute drill.
What is there to lose at this point?

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Doesn't Aaron have the option to audible out of most plays?

From what I have heard from ex qb's, the game plan is put together, the QB is included, suggesting some plays or objecting to some.
That doesn't mean the plays are put in it taken out, it means he has input.

There are always options to every play.

That is where Aaron comes in reading the defense and deciding at the line what to run.

Veteran qb's basically call the game, staying within the gameplan.

EDIT
Gregg Jennings has become a Cowheard puppet.
No credibility anymore.

This is pure speculation on my part, but I think part of the reason Rodgers 2:00 works so well is because it is different than the rest of the game plan. It's the switch in playcaller that I think makes it so successful. If Rodgers was calling the entire game and then the other team would adjust to Rodgers thinking and a switch to MM might be more successful then.

I have no clue if that's correct, but it's just another thought that the switching back and forth might be better instead of either one doing over 75% of the play calling.

Though where I completely agree with Jennings is that MM runs a ton of isolation routes to get as many one on one matches as possible... and refuses to run group routes (man beaters as I think some call them) as much as possible.

When you have more talented depth than the defense then running iso routes make a ton of sense ... but when you don't how about mix SOME man beaters routes/plays in... it can be less than 25%, no problem, but more than 10% would be nice and keep the defense a little off guard.

Ok....but don’t the other teams also know what Rodgers will call in the 2 minute drill, as well as what MM might call the rest of the time?
Teams have film on Rodgers and the 2 minute drill. So they would be just as prepared. Yet Aaron makes it work, right?
