Not that most men ever take notice of the shoes that other men wear, but it can be most enlightening. A prime example is your Dr./ Dr's. Many wear very soft leather loafers. For them it's almost like wearing house slippers.
The more time that men spend outside of an office environment, the more rugged the shoes. Steel toed work boots are the everyday fare for many professions. For some a rubber sole shoe is the answer as they move about a lot in their cleaner work environment (warehouse, delivery driver, store clerk, etc.).
I'm looking to buy new shoes this spring myself. Rockport makes a brown leather shoe that has peaked my interest online already. I'll be trying them on soon at one of my local stores. What was the last pair of shoes that you purchased? đ
