I didn't see most of the 2nd half.

Looking back at the numbers, Graham seems to have been almost invisible last night. They only threw it to him 4 times.

Was he kept in to help block?

He has to be a bigger part of the game plan in the future.

If they're using him to block then the coaches are idiots and it begs the question of why they signed Lewis in the offseason (surprised they didn't put Lewis out to help Bulaga when Mack was bending him over a table in the first half).

I heard his name a couple times brought up in the context of blocking but I was not specifically looking out for him. The only time I recall seeing him is on either the first or second drive when Rodgers was throwing a ball into heavy traffic to Graham, was an okay ball but it would have been an astonishing catch.

Glad to see Adams, Allison, and even Cobb come through in big ways but yeah, it sure would be nice to see a big name like Jimmy Graham get more involved in the passing game.

I seriously doubt that they were keeping Graham in to block, he ain't that good at it.
It occurred to me that he might have been playing the decoy role.

All about where them safeties are floating. They'll get it sorted, assuming Rodgers can play.

The part I left off on my first post is that Rob Demovsky has him in for 59 of the 60 offensive plays. He can't be running across the middle of the field every time. He couldn't have been covered on every play. I remember seeing him split out wide left on a play but I don't remember when.

I agree Aaron was going with what was working because he didn't have a lot of time. I find it interesting that in all the 2nd half plays Graham wasn't the guy getting the mismatch.
I am not blaming anyone. I just find it odd Aaron threw 2 incomplete passes to him on the first drive of the 2nd half and then no more. Perhaps it was an Aaron being ticked off thing. Maybe he was going to with three amigos he had a few years experience with and he didn't feel like he had enough time to try and develop something with Jimmy.

The Bears for most of the game covered Graham with a safety and Graham got ZERO separation under from safeties. On the one nice pass he caught was on 2nd and 20. He ran a shallow cross and was covered by Kwiatkowski [playing MLB position] Kwiatkowski was slow to cover because Kendricks ran a great rub, Graham was cut down by safety for no YAC.

I only saw him blocking on run plays and it just stunk, it was worthless. I saw one good block in PS, so I had some hope he’d at least rise to below average, to no avail. He might be the softest player in NFL history.

On three plays he did contribute:
-On the 51 yarder to Adams Floyd jammed him for 5 yards and handed him off to a safety.
-On the Kizer Fumble they lined him up wide left with 4 receivers right; and Bears doubled him with Amukamara and a safety.
-On the Adams TD; Graham lined up in slot inside of Adams and was doubled; this helped Adams get to EZ.
Last year NO ONE doubled him in the RZ; I’m shocked the Bears did. If teams double him in the RZ then he will have value in RZ even if he doesn't catch a ball.

One game (his first ever game as a Packer) that he didn’t contribute much, and all of a sudden he is a waste of space. My gosh.

I honestly wasn't expecting Graham to contribute much for the first two or three weeks at least. When has Rodgers ever fully incorporated a newcomer this early in the season? I can't remember a time.
