Equanimeous Tristan Imhotep J. St. Brown | Receiver | Notre Dame | 6'5" - 214 lbs.

Overview
St. Brown's combination of size and speed will be coveted by offenses looking for a prospect who can create throwing windows down the field with his ability to separate as the route progresses. St. Brown's competitive nature needs to improve as does his play strength to elude early pressure from physical cornerbacks. He has never been a volume target and has just three 100-yard games in his career. At this stage, St. Brown is more of a threat than a weapon and his ceiling may be an average starter or WR3.

Strengths
• Tall target with long limbs
• Plays outside and from slot
• Early push into routes with quickness to decelerate and open and uncover on comebacks
• Effortless glider
• Much faster than he looks
• Easy maneuvering around route traffic
• Staccato footwork provides above average change of direction without slowing
• Has build-up speed to overtake cornerbacks as vertical route progresses to third level
• Willing to work over the middle
• Able to eliminate pursuit angles and hit big runs after catch on crossing routes
• Showed elevated concentration on tougher catches in 2016
• Good feel for use of length to overcome cornerbacks down the sideline
• Very few focus drops during his career
• Has speed to hit the chunk play
• Weaknesses
• Competitiveness feels optional for him at times
• Needs to play with more consistent urgency
• Struggles with physical cornerbacks
• Crowded and harassed by North Carolina's M.J
• Stewart and finished with just one catch
• Routes and stems are rounded
• Needs to do better at disguising route breaks
• Doesn't create as much downfield separation as he could with better route leverage
• Doesn't extend to pluck and allows throws to get into him
• Hand strength is below average
• Has catches that turn into drops due to lack of hand strength through contact
• Body positioning and ball adjustments down the field are just OK
• 4.48 forty yard dash

Had him ranked in the SECOND ROUND.

This dude has the skills, he just had shit QBs in college. I like the J Moore pick and the speedster project guy, but this dude has a high floor, IMO. Dude can run routes, play the ball in the air and GET DEEP.

Question on him is consistency.

St. Brown is a tall and versatile wide receiver. He has experience playing both outside and in the slot at Notre Dame. He is as quick as he is tall (6’5). He is a vertical threat but can also create separation for himself underneath or over the middle with nice footwork.

Offers true starter upside, rare for round 6.

St. Brown is someone who is inconsistent and doesn’t always show up on tape. He can make the contested catches look easy at times but will then disappear for long stretches. He could be a guy that has a big game early on in his career and become a folk hero in Green Bay, but he needs a lot of work to become a consistent contributor.

So why did he drop? Anyone hear any scuttlebutt?

Didn't know his dad was that John Brown. I remember watching him in the BB competitions. he had some pretty cool posing routines.

His production flatout dropped after Kizer got drafted because Notre Dame's QB situation was beyond garbage. I'd say that was the main reason.

I think I will call him Tristan. 😁
Nerd it took a while but you got your man.

current WR-
Adams, Davante
Cobb, Randall
Allison, Geronimo
Davis, Trevor
Yancey, DeAngelo

Filler WR-
Tonyan Jr., Robert
Pearson, Colby
Clark, Michael
Kumerow, Jake

St Brown should make the team as will Moore. Davis and Yancey are on the bubble. Valdes-Scantling might be on the PS.

What I noticed in what I've seen his will to fight to make a tough play and to get serious YAC. Size and strength definitely play into both of those things. Should be a solid addition. This will be a very competitive position in camp, as long as they have a competent passer to help them show what they can do, so not Hundley.

Zero2Cool (6h) : What? Why? Huh?
beast (6h) : I wonder if the Packers might to try to bring Douglas in through Milt Hendrickson/Ravens connections
Zero2Cool (7h) : The Jets fired Joe Douglas, per sources
packerfanoutwest (8h) : Jets are a mess......
Zero2Cool (8h) : Pretty sure Jets fired their scouting staff and just pluck former Packers.
Zero2Cool (8h) : Jets sign Anders Carlson to their 53.
Zero2Cool (10h) : When you cycle the weeks, the total over remains for season. But you get your W/L for that selected week. Confusing.
packerfanoutwest (10h) : the total and percentage are the same as the previous weeks
packerfanoutwest (10h) : the total and percentage are the same as the previous weeks
packerfanoutwest (10h) : the totals are accurate..nrvrtmind
Zero2Cool (10h) : I don't follow what you are saying. The totals are not the same as last week.
packerfanoutwest (10h) : ok so then wht are the totals the same as last week?
Zero2Cool (12h) : NFL Pick'em is auto updated when NFL Scores tab is clicked
Martha Careful (12h) : The offense was OK. Let's not forget the Bear defense is very very good.
packerfanoutwest (14h) : Who updates the leaderboard on NFLPickem?
beast (22h) : Has the Packers offense been worse since the former Jets coach joined the Packers?
Zero2Cool (23h) : Offense gets his ass in gear, this could be good.
Zero2Cool (23h) : Backup QB helped with three wins. Special Teams contributed to three wins.
bboystyle (18-Nov) : Lions played outside thats why. They scored 16 and 17 in the only 2 outside games this year
Zero2Cool (18-Nov) : The rest of the NFL is catching up to Packers ... kicking is an issue throughout league
packerfanoutwest (18-Nov) : Packers DL Kenny Clark: We knew 'we were going to block' Bears' game-winning field goal attempt
Zero2Cool (18-Nov) : Lions seem to be throttling everyone, but only (only) got 24 lol maybe the rain is why
Zero2Cool (18-Nov) : Packers vs Lions game doesn't seem so bad.
beast (18-Nov) : Dennis Green "They are what we thought they were, and we let them off the hook!"
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : comment of the day Z2Cool "Bears better than we want to admit. Packers worse than we think. It's facts."
Mucky Tundra (17-Nov) : my worst case scenario: Bears fix their oline and get a coach like Johnson from the Lions and his scheme
Zero2Cool (17-Nov) : Bears get OL fixed amd we might have a problem
buckeyepackfan (17-Nov) : Pretty sure they already have scouting reports on guys who aren't even starting for their college team. The future is now for me.
buckeyepackfan (17-Nov) : I tend to let Gute and Co. Worry about the future.
beast (17-Nov) : That's great news and Packers need to keep upgrading their OL, DL and DBs this off-season, so missing one guy doesn't kill them
beast (17-Nov) : That's great news and Packers need to keep upgrading their OL, DL and DBs this off-season, so missing one guy doesn't kill them
buckeyepackfan (17-Nov) : Jaire and Evans Williams are both ACTIVE! Good news.
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : The badgers really need to change the whole offensive scheme. No draws no screens plus the quarterback is marginal
Cheesey (17-Nov) : If the Badgers had a decent QB, they would have won. The guy can't hit a wide open receiver
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : chop block
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : there was a very questionable job Block call that upon viewing replay was very borderline
beast (17-Nov) : How so? (I didn't watch)
Zero2Cool (17-Nov) : Badgers got hosed vs Oregon
packerfanoutwest (16-Nov) : damn,he hasn't played since week 2
Mucky Tundra (15-Nov) : poor guy can't catch a break

Zero2Cool (15-Nov) : MarShawn Lloyd has appendicitis according to Matt LaFleur.
Zero2Cool (14-Nov) : He probably plays DB.
Zero2Cool (14-Nov) : I don't even know who that Don is
packerfanoutwest (14-Nov) : What position does Lemon play ?
dfosterf (14-Nov) : I read this am that Don Lemon quit x, so there's that
Zero2Cool (13-Nov) : Seems some are flocking to BlueSky and leaving Tweeter. I wonder if BlueSky allows embeded lists
beast (12-Nov) : He's a review guy
Zero2Cool (12-Nov) : Jordy Nelson is still in the NFL.
Zero2Cool (11-Nov) : Ok, will do.
