I don't think you said anything unique here smokey, generalized statements about how a GM works then a pot shot at Thompson.

Ted Thompson is still working his ass off for the Green Bay Packers, even after being demoted. Do we not understand how much pride and ego had to be swallowed to do that? And to still be talked highly about by his peers in his old and new capacity?

We were fucking LUCKY to have Ted Thompson. Yes, I didn't care for his lack of press conferences, mainly because it was freaking awesome listening to him shoot people down and I wish he'd been more aggressive to acquire missing pieces to the team. That said, all in all, the man did a damn good job with the Packers.

Will always be a Thompson fan. He did miss a bit too many defensive picks though, which is unfortunate. We'll see what happens now that there is new leadership making those decisions.

The fact that we didn't even make an offer to Burnett makes me feel like the plan is to replace him with someone in house

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
