Part 1-Rodgers’ Play:
11:43 4th Q, 1st and 10 down by 14: Carolina brings 5. Mike calls the PERFECT play. GB has Cobb and Nelson right, who run deep; Rodgers [also lined-up right] runs a 10 yard curl to the right; and Jones, lined up right, ran out to the right. Carolina only has 4 guys on right side of field. 2 DBs and a deep safety tracked Cobb/Nelson deep. Leaving one, Keuchly, to guard Jones and Rodgers, who are 20 yards apart. Indeed this was Read 1A and 1B for Rodgers and Keuchly was frozen half way between; so wherever Rodgers releases the ball it’ll be good for 15 or more. Instead Rodgers decides to satiate his dotard base, most of whom consider themselves knowledgeable to expert, with a big play and gets SACKED. And here’s the thing with 1 LB on 2 receivers and 5 rushing: the blitz limits the time to make the big play and the big play has to occur with 5 guarding the other 3 receivers. This is the cost for willfully skipping wide open receivers early in the progression, it means the others are most likely covered.
Rodgers REPEATEDLY passed up open shorter routes for the big play, a few he made, the dotards were happy; I wasn’t. Playing outside the offense increases the # of times the ball returns Carolina w/o a score. Plus, NO WAY he survives 6 games taken so many extra, senseless, unnecessary, stupid hits.
And those back to back 4th Q sacks on 3rd/5 and 4th/14 were disgraceful. He purposefully submarined his team’s chances because the little egocentric stat whore didn’t want 2 INCs or another INT on his permanent record.
Part 2-The corporate model:
Large American corporations work to one end: SOCIOPATHIC PROFIT. These profits turn on the way consumers consume their product. Football corporate profit typically increases with winning, so most try; but make no mistake, winning is not an ultimate goal in any way. If losing with a Rodgers makes more profit than winning without him; Rodgers will start no matter how may loses. If a coach interferes with the profit plan, no matter how good his football decisions; he will be fired [See McAdoo].
Similarly, blog and corporate profits hinge on the way consumers consume their product, hence, their product is adjusted to satiate the appetite of their consumers.
Part 3-Fans Affect Play
#12 single-handedly destroyed GB’s odds to beat Carolina because he could not control the kiddy, playground, selfish, messiah-complexed, sociopathic part of his nature. Though this “quality” resides in most successful professional athletes; if it appears, they beat it back because they know if they play like a total douche ass clown a KNOWLEDGEABLE fan base will turn. The fans by their consumption will cause truthful media, endorsements to dry up and the team will allow football people to make roster decisions based solely on football and not PR or profit.
Cubs fan Steve Bartman attended a game and statistically put his team at a disadvantage: Cubs needed 27 outs to win; Bartman got the Marlins 28. In his defense, this back-stab was not planned.
Likewise, it was the dotard Packer fan that served as Carolina’s 12th and 13th man, much like Bartman was there for the Marlins. Except they acted willingly and with malice and forethought continually refusing to blame Rodgers for his crap play; they REFUSE to hold him accountable for his beyond stupid, selfish and stat whore play. Blog and beat writers write their satiating slop to gratify their consumers; truthful articles about Rodgers are tempered or discarded. And 1265 is doomed to another year of Aaron Doppelganger Rodgers.
How many more superbowls are we going to sacrifice lose because dotard fans enjoy providing a warm place in their mouths for Rodgers’ pagoda?
STOP IT!
STOP being sycophant little mindless twits that give our opponents better odds of winning and most important: have some god damn pride!
