It's been the "cool kid" to bash Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix, even though he played pretty well last season. Regardless of how you feel 2016 was, 2017 was deserving of every negative comment thrown his way. We've speculated maybe he's injured, however, the team and he have said he is not injured. So what the hell happened? Two words, Dom, Capers.

You remember when Sam Shields was let go? This is what Clinton-Dix posted on Instagram.



Afterwards, Clinton-Dix tweeted this out.






If I were a betting man, I would say Dom Capers has LOST his players and Clinton-Dix is being a shit ass poor professional.

I really think to much got thrown at the safeties in attempt to cover for injuries all over. Burnett has been playing SS, ILB, CB, HaHa has been playing deep, shallow, calling plays when Burnett was out. Jones has been SS, ILB, FS. Like any group, consistency makes them better, consistent in position played and consistency of those around them.

Again I look and it took Collins until his 4th year to really shine, and that with Woody helping him. I'm not sure we have anybody to do that in the secondary. I don't know if Burnett is that guy or not.

If the defensive scheme is too difficult, then maybe you need to THROW IT OUT. Obviously the last several years has proven it must be.
Something is seriously wrong with our D, and if it's not changed, then nothing WILL change.

Dix is playing scared, he appears playing to avoid contact.
That's why the bad angles, the shoelace attempts to tackle.
He does make a helluva cheerleader as you see him at the end of every play STANDING around the pile clapping.
I'm sure he will go on to play for someone else and be a stellar safety.

What happened to Dix, ... whatever happened to all our other defensive talented player.

Year over year, we've only seen regression from players ... Matthews, Burnett.

Injuries is only an excuse they use.

Dom Capers has killed this defense and his scheme, system puts our players in a bad position.
