The Packers have one injured veteran suiting up today, but another will sit out with an injury. On Sunday, the Green Bay Packers  got a boost of good news for their banged-up secondary. After failing to suit up for practice all week long, veteran cornerback Davon House  is active for today’s game against the Cleveland Browns , which will help the defensive coaching staff keep the reps for undrafted rookies down in today’s game.
The news is less positive for the pass rush, as linebacker Nick Perry  is one of the inactive players. Perry  also failed to practice all week long, but he was listed as questionable compared to House’s doubtful designation. This likely means more reps for Ahmad Brooks , Kyler Fackrell , and Vince Biegel  opposite Clay Matthews .
The Browns are dealing with significant injuries of their own, however, also primarily on defense. Two starters were game-time decisions and are inactive: safety Jabrill Peppers  and nose tackle Danny Shelton . That should make for a bit easier sledding for Brett Hundley  and the Packers’ offense this afternoon at FirstEnergy Stadium.
Here are the inactives for both teams.
PACKERS INACTIVES
WR Michael Clark CB Demetri Goodson OT Ulrick John RB Devante Mays OLB Chris Odom OL Adam Pankey OLB Nick Perry
BROWNS INACTIVES
CB Briean Boddy-Calhoun QB Cody Kessler TE Matt Lengel OL Marcus Martin S Jabrill PeppersDT Danny Shelton WR Bryce Treggs

We all know Clay isn't gonna beat Joe Thomas. I mean, we've got Abdul. But Fackrell and Biegel gotta show me something today.

What I find interesting is that CB House is listed as doubtful, but he's active. Is he healthy enough to play? Is he gonna start? is he's going to be even 85%? ... or is he just on the active last as an emergency back-up? Or what's going on there?

Joe Thomas killed it out there today. He had Kizer's blind side on lockdown. He looked like a freaking phantom in the trenches. 😂

beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
