Cards over Rams just because it benefits the Packers? Exhibit A, your honor. :)

Going week to week, these are the games that effect The Packers.

Either way this benefits The Packers.

Cardinals win , brings The Packers one game closer to The Rams which may or may not matter in 5 weeks but could.

Since you have already written off the season,

For the Packers to make the playoffs they have to go undefeated the rest of the way (or a couple of select teams to really fall apart, which is unlikely).

The hardest part I see is that the Lions have to lose two games, and their schedule is
@ Ravens
@ Bucs
vs Bears
@ Bengals
vs Packers

It's hard to image the Lions to lose to Bucs, Bears or Bengals
(Bengals have won 5 of their last 8, but it was against the Browns (x2) and struggling/inconsistent offenses, though the Bears did come close (3 points) in their first game this season)

Point being, I think the Packers need to go undefeat and maybe have the Ravens beat the Lions this week
Also it'd help if the Panthers lost to the Saints this week, then Vikings and Packers later on, giving Packers shots at both wildcard spots and not just the last one.

THE ONLY THING WE DO KNOW IS THE PACKERS CANNOT LOSE!

Thia is my favorite:

Packers win out.

Vikings @ Atlanta (L) , Vikings @ Carolina (L), Bengals @ Vikings(W), Vikings @ Green Bay (L)

After Week 16 into week17 Packers (9-6) @ Detroit (9-6) -Bears(6-9) @ Vikings(10-5)

Packers Beat Lions eliminating them
Bears rise up and Beat Vikings

Packers win division #3 or #4 seed

Vikings could end up being eliminated.

After running a plethera of simulations, the 2 teams Tha Packers want to keep winning are The Eagles and The Saints.

They both play teams The Packers are trying to jump

Cowboys all but eliminated Washington, one down!!!

Games that matter this week.

Vikings(9-2) @ Falcons.(7-4)
Packers benefit either way, though it would be good to watch The Vikings self-destruct the next few weeks, I don't see it happening.

At this point , would probably benefit The Packers if Atlanta loses.
Vikings 27 Atlanta 24.

Panthers(8-3) @ Saints(8-3)

Another game where someone loses, Packers benefit.

Panthers just don't seem to be insynce.
They are winning ugly, that won't happen Against Saints.
Saints 42 Panthers 16

Rams(8-3) @ Cardinals (5-6)

Cardinals facing elimination with loss, Packers benefit with Cardinal win!
Cardinals 31 Rams 28

Eagles(10-1) @ Seahawks(7-4)

Seattles 12th man goes home early.
To Packers benefit The Eagles just keep on winning!!!!

Eagles 24 Seahawks 16

A Rams loss would have been better but oh well.

Detroit-you are on life support and the plug is about to be pulled!

Vikings and Saints provided the big help beating Atlanta and Carolina !

Eagles couldn't win at Seattle, would have better but if they did.
The silver lining is they are no longer the #1seed, so they will not let up.

They have some games coming up that will benefit The Packers.

The Packers chances of making the playoffs have increased since last week.

I can only find one scenario where they are eliminated with 10 wins.

Actually 9-7 will be in play if games fall right
Don't want to think about that!

Win in Cleveland !!!
Nothing else matters!

Won't be in a basement anywhere. Will be right here. I want to get into the playoffs and win it all. Is that remotely likely with this D? No. On record for change...ain't gonna happen if we make the playoffs. Have been torn on this and have been forthcoming about my hang up.

Will be very exciting to see 12 back, if he's back, with an actual chance. No guarantee he gets back or we win all 3 even with him.

This is a fun time...we have a TERRIBLE offense and a TERRIBLE defense but still remain in playoff contention. Too bad 12 didn't get us to 6-0 but you can only do so much with that defense.

Yeah yesterday was great for the Packers with the exception of the Seahawks win...

Packers now need to go undefeated and two of the following teams to lose two more games, Panthers, Falcons and Seahawks... and looking at their schedule we might need them to this coming week.

Falcons are 1 game ahead, but have the tie breaker, face Saints (Thursday Night), Buccaneers, Saints again and Panthers

Panthers two games ahead and face Vikings, Packers, Buccaneers and Falcons

Seahawks two games ahead but don't have the tie breaker and face Jaguars, Rams, Cowboys, Cardinals

Week 14 , Packers still in it!
Thursday
Saints (9-3) @ Falcons (7-5)
Packers benefit more with a Saints win.
Although not the end of the world if Falcons win.

Falcons favored by 1-1/2
Take The Saints and the points.
Saints 34 Falcons 31.

Lions (6-6) @ Tampa Bay (4-8)
I think Lions season comes to an end.
Tampa Bay 26 Lions 23

Cowboys(6-6) @ Giants (2-10 )
The Giants and Eli would love to end The 'Boys season. Not this week.
Dallas 23 Giants 21

Vikings(10-2) @ Panthers (8-4)
Vikings have dreams of being the 1st team to .play at home in SB.
They take the 1st step by locking up the division
Which puts The Packers right in the wild card race.
Vikings 20 Panthers 17

Seattle (8-4) @ Jax (8-4)
The Jags prove they are for real.
Jaguars 28 Seahawks 24

Eagles (10-2) @ Rams (9-3 )
Eagles get back on track .
Nobody wants to claim The West
Eagles 37 Rams 24

UPDATE

Week 14 , Packers still in it!
Thursday
Saints (9-3) @ Falcons (7-5)
Packers benefit more with a Saints win.
Although not the end of the world if Falcons win.

Falcons(8-5) win Saints (9-4)

This is not as bad as it seems.
will explain later.

Lions (6-6) @ Tampa Bay (4-8)
I think Lions season comes to an end.
Tampa Bay 26 Lions 23
CHECK THAT
After running many scenarios I have found that the longer The Lions have a chance The better it is for The Packers. Not a must, but root for The Lions!!!

Cowboys(6-6) @ Giants (2-10 )
The Giants and Eli would love to end The 'Boys season. Not this week.
Dallas 23 Giants 21
UPDATE
Cowboys are in the same boat as Lions, they have a couple of games coming up that would benefit The Packers, so root for them to win this week and keep their playoff hopes alive.

Vikings(10-2) @ Panthers (8-4)
Vikings have dreams of being the 1st team to .play at home in SB.
They take the 1st step by locking up the division
Which puts The Packers right in the wild card race.
Vikings 20 Panthers 17

Seattle (8-4) @ Jax (8-4)
The Jags prove they are for real.
Jaguars 28 Seahawks 24

Eagles (10-2) @ Rams (9-3 )
Eagles get back on track .
Nobody wants to claim The West
Eagles 37 Rams 24

Here is the ONLY scenario I can find that will eliminate The Packers if they run the table.

There are currently 7 teams ahead of The Packers(not including Cowboys and Lions, they will be eliminated if Packers run the table)

There will be 4 Division winners, that leaves 4 teams(including Packers playing for 2 spots)
The only way The Packers get eliminated is if all 3 teams left all finish 11-5 or better.
Unless 1 of those teams is Atlanta.

I guess the only thing to worry about is The Browns for now!!!!!

If Green Bay can sweep Carolina, Minnesota (10-3) and Detroit (7-6) ā€” an enormous challenge considering the Panthers and Lions are fighting for the playoffs and the Vikings are fighting for homefield ā€” it will have a chance to claim a ninth consecutive playoff berth because thereā€™s help to be found on the schedule.

In Week 15, Seattle plays at the Los Angeles Rams (9-4).

In Week 16, Atlanta plays at New Orleans (9-4) and the Seahawks play at Dallas.

In Week 17, Carolina plays at Atlanta.

Green Bay is in good shape on tiebreakers. While it would lose the head-to-head to Atlanta, it would have victories over Carolina, Seattle and Dallas and the common-opponents tiebreaker against Detroit.

Basically, a whole lot went right for the Packers last week, but a whole lot went wrong for them this week. The only good thing to come out of this week was the Seattle loss. For now, the Packers remain stuck in ninth place. But hey, at least they're ahead of the Cowboys, right? šŸ‘
