Dom has a few games to figure something out. This Ravens offense isn't that great.
I look at pass rush as the biggest problem on the D. Clay just doesn't have it anymore. He's above average, nothing great. Perry is a run stuffing OLB. He hasn't done jack all year, until the Bares game. Granted, they had scrubs at T, but then again, Perry has been stymied by scrubs earlier this year. MAYBE, just maybe, his hand is getting better and that will help him. Who knows?
We've also got Abdul coming back and the wild cards, Vince Biegel and Montravius Adams, who although a down lineman, is still a pass rush guy. Theoretically, the tools MIGHT be there. We shall see.
We need the tools to legitimately be there, AND Dom to be able to utilize them. Alternatively, Dom needs to be able to do it with smoke and mirrors.
The offense hasn't been helping the D, but it's just a unique situation from that standpoint. We've needed the D to carry this team for a bit, and they've been in free fall. Hopefully the O is getting it together, and that might help the D hold it together too. Lotta variables in play. Kind of centers around the pass rush though, imo.
