I watch Packer games and sometimes will catch games from NFC competitors later in the year when the playoff race is heating up. Unless its a big matchup like patriots - chiefs I usually ignore the AFC completely.

The politics and rule changes have done nothing to affect my interest, its purely the realization as i get older that sports just have less and less meaning in my life. People evolve don't think its anything to worry about.

Mostly the Packers. The only reason I might watch other games is if it impacts the Packers standings.

Otherwise the rest of the NFL is no big deal to me.

I just love football. As a kid I wanted to be good enough to play football in the CFL. Watched mostly just CFL growing up (and Canadian University when I started University) until '93 when my ex who was an NFL fan (49ers) had me choose an NFL team. I saw Brett chucking balls in a cold Green Bay game and I was like these guys look like the Edmonton Eskimos and this QB has a killer arm. That is how I became a Packer fan.

Became more and more a Packer fan over the years and have been lucky that we seem to get most Green Bay games in Canada. I also have had season tickets for the local Ottawa CFL teams over the years. I even used to go down to Buffalo before kids each year for a road trip and a game. Didn't care who played just wanted to see the game.

Now my son plays football so I really look forward to watching him play.

I will watch games when I can get the chance even American College which I am doing just to see the game of football being played or to see players I have heard draft buzz on.

I hate the politics being infused now during the football games. The reffing sometimes drives me crazy along with some of the rule changes, but at the end of the day I still go back to those memories of being a kid and loving to play football every chance I get, because I just absolutely love this sport.

I have lived and died with the Green Bay Packers for 61 years now and I will until I go 10 toes up.
I don't watch any other NFL games in their entirety any more they are just too long to invest that much time in.
Advertising and officiating have really cooled my passion for NFL football.

I was watching a CFL game about 10 years ago. The offense had it first and goal on the 1. They ran the ball up the middle and gained 1/2 yard. After the players untangled themselves and went back to their huddles the ref placed the ball back at the 1. The announcer explained to the American audience that the defense has to line up 1 yard off the ball. It wouldn't be fair to give the OL that much space therefore the line of scrimmage can't be any closer to the goal than the 1. It seemed kind of crazy but I think about it all the time. On second down the offense ran up the middle again and once again gained 1/2 yard. They threw for a td on 3rd down.

We can challenge pass interference which is beyond stupid as many plays I would call legit because of fighting back and forth looks like a PI with slow motion.

We had some great QBs up here with Warren Moon, Jeff Garcia, and the King of CFL Doug Flutie.

The yard off rule confuses many non-CFL fans, I found the "Rouge" even more confusing as if you miss a field goal and it is not returned out of the endzone it is a point even though you missed. You can just see a tie game being ended by somebody punting the ball out of the endzone to win the game. Awful rule that will one date bite them in the ass. It is nice on kicks offs as it encourages a return, but if it was to win a game..yikes.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
