Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

The team has yet to place him on IR which would cost him 8 weeks. IR timetable would allow for a Week 15 return against Myles Sackmaster Garrett and the Browns in Cleveland. I can't figure why they wouldn't IR because IR'ing him means he'd still be in play for Week 15. Perhaps, they believe he could return sooner and don't need to IR him?

If org is going to IR him in hopes of a return, they better do it this week. If org chooses not to IR this week it almost certainly has to mean they believe he's back in 8 weeks or less barring a setback.

Now, that he's communicated I expect @RapSheet to throw out a timeline before the weekend is over and maybe Friday.

Why wouldn't one of the most successful, most motivated players in the NFL focus on trying to come back this season? He is going to do so all the way until week 17. Even if the team is eliminated in week 15 or 16 he will still want to get back on tot he field this year. WE expect nothing less from the Great One.

I think you're reading too much into it. He just underwent surgery, recovery starts now and thus the comeback.

Who is Aaron Rodgers? Why did he use the word choices he did? Know your subject. Become a profiler of people.

Is it likely that Aaron is thinking I know I'm done and won't be back until next season or that he's thinking what can I do to get myself back as quickly as possible and play the hero this season? The guy cut dairy to try to glean an advantage. He uses cadence to get free plays constantly. He is rushing to the line to catch an extra defender on the field all the time. He exploits every little advantage he can that most don't even acknowledge as a potential advantage. He plays the game in full court press mode, while most QB's are just dropping back into their comfy 2-3 zone. A person like him isn't thinking anything but best possible scenario for his return. His communication was in line with urgency of getting back quickly. If you don't understand your subject and haven't looked at his profile then his words have no meaning because you don't understand his frame of reference and context is lost on you.

Will he make it back? I have no idea. I do know that he is thinking by who he is and his communication that he will do everything in his power to be back this season. Again, your words hold the power of life and death within them so everything you communicate has incredible value and meaning even if you can't or don't want to see it.
