Watch the play over and over. He came running in, from far away from the play, and launched himself head first into Adams.
He gets away with only a one game suspension. That's a slap on the wrist, if you ask me. He could have ended Adam's career, or left him paralyzed with that kind of unnecessary hit.

Why can't the NFL take some rules from college. The one i really think is a great rule is the spearing rule. If you are caught spearing it will go to replay and if you did then your kicked out of the game. If it happened in the 2nd half you are still out for the 1st half of the next game. I think this would slow down these types of hits because they wouldn't want to lose a paycheck and then have a fine on top of it. This will never happen because to many big name defensive players would be out for games.

Just my thought and yes the hit was dirty he lowered his head which means he had intent.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I see what these guys are going through and I just feel for them. Recovery is no joke.

IMO, he was using the helmet to try and knock the ball out. Unfortunately for both, Adams ducked when he caught glimpse of him coming in. Also there was no pile of players. Adams was being held by one defender and might have been able to spin out but not likely.
