225 net yards for Seattle and D only gave up 155; McCarthy gave up 70 at end of half.

Rodgers played a GREAT 2nd half; executed the offense almost flawlessly and got some of his accuracy back that was missing in first half. Though I didn’t like the 2nd and 10 throw to Jordy on deep back shoulder at 8:16 4th Q. This is huge; he recognized he was doppleganging it on last drive b4 half and made an instant adjustment. Burning 6:17 and 3 Seattle TOs on last drive was a thing of beauty.

We have an UDFA punter who is closer to Ray Guy than Just-a Guy; and Murphy, certainly not great, but serviceable and he'll only get better and better. Well see how much he progresses; but I think Murphy can play in NFL at least as a G.

Williams: one good run, one great run, on 2 tries. They had him playing during crunch time instead Ripkowski when Monty went out, this is a huge compliment. On 3rd and 4 at 9:04 in 4th Q, Rodgers went to Nelson for 1st, which was the play because Jordy was 1st read. But too bad Jordy was open, Williams split wide and executed a beautiful rub on Bennett’s guy; if Aaron throws it to Bennett that is a TD.

King- got in a few snaps when Randall went out; so he’s next up on outside.

At 15:00 4th Q. Seattle did a cross and kept with his man nicely; next play He did great coming up in run support. The next play, the Graham drop, King was on the other side of field and was lost, asking House what he was supposed to do. Then he was beat badly on the WR’s fake out and in; but ball went to Graham. At 6:33 in 4th He made a solid veteran athletic play. King was lined up outside W/ Burnet covering slot; His guy rubbed Burnett and King instinctively knew that Burnett was going to be trouble. He anticipated the throw to Burnett’s man and instantly left his man when Wilson threw. King Almost beat Dix to Burnet’s guy and he and Dix knocked the WR out of bounds. I only saw him in there for those 4 plays.

Rollins was a stud in run support; gave up long pass to Baldwin just before half and a few others where ihis coverage was okay and he got turned around on a pass in first Q as well.

Fackrell played with a little piss and vinegar and was rushing from inside in spy mode when he recovered the fumble. And he had a nice series of plays from 7:39 to 5:40, 3rd Q. He got a pressure and almost a sack, but only a back was assigned to block him. On the rekick of kick-off because Janis was offside Fackrell made the tackle on both kicks.

House played a pretty good game. Though Lockhart had him beat for a long on; but Russell missed thanks to Daniels. And he took a bad angle on long Carson run

Monty is the toughest guy I’ve ever seen.

We could always count on Lacy to help us win.

Not impressed with the offense at all. It was basically Daniels setting up one TD and a busted play on the other. If not for those, our offense probably wastes the great defensive performance.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

The offense got a bit sloppy and out of sync at times but they also were able to move the ball a bit but were consistently shit on with their starting field position because of damn Ryan. If they had gotten to start a couple first half drives from the 25 or 30 we probably go into halftime with a lead. Also Rodgers INT was just a mistake for him that he doesn't usually make. The most important thing is they closed out the game when they needed to and got the W.

That's likely the best front 7 in football and even more if you count Chancellor for how good he is at supporting the run and anything over the middle of the field and we were able to convert 3rd downs and move the ball on em. Just have to finish better.

Not much to say about the Defense they were fantastic throughout. Next week against Atlanta will give us a better idea if the D is for real or not. A very good OL and QB and quite a bit of skill position talent.

Most offenses start slow in week 1 imo, especially McCarthy's offense since we rest our starters so much in preseason (which i support).

This was one of those RARE times where our defense bailed out our offense.....and might I add.....IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!
Maybe now our O can settle down, knowing they don't have to score on EVERY drive in order to have a chance at a win. This might help BIG time.
