ESPN: The Search For Aaron Rodgers

I had thought religion played a role between Aaron and his family and after reading the article, I'm convinced the rift is due to his religious view change. Both of his parents are devout Catholic and it seems Aaron has drifted away from that.

For devout Christians it must be tough to know that someone you love is going to hell while you are having a wonderful time up in heaven.

Had a similar situation with a Mormon friend in High School,

His parents essencially disowned him, and he lived at one of our friend's house for months.

I know religion in the US is such a more hotly contested issue than in the UK but even my deeply Catholic Irish Heritage (and some gypsy) Aunt can just accept I don't believe in what she believes in. If she wants to pray for me then its no skin off my back
