I'll be keeping my eyes on Pipkins. That's a damn fun name to say and root for.

Was at the game on Thursday and was really impressed by him. He has the look of a player who can help us. Some guys just give you a gut feel. I was glad to see he's been getting accolades for his performance on Thursday. No better place in the NFL to make it as a UDFA CB than Green Bay. I really hope he sticks.
Hawkins is somewhat like the Janis of the defense. Nice talent but no consistency and doesn't appear to be able to get it.
House and whomever is not a very exciting starting CB duo. Rollins looked brutal on Thursday as did King. King has been getting burned in practice and that carried right over to the game. He has the awful stench of a bust on him. Made some nice power knockdowns. Didn't know he had that in him but far from a form tackler. Very very concerned, again, about this very leaky secondary. More and more resources are being dumped for dumpster fire results. I can hear it now...it's early! Give the kid a chance. His play speed is terrible. Bryce Treggs burned him severely...it wasn't just a little scorch mark, he was ashed. Kid looks awkward and not fluid. Pipkins has the look of a starter over everyone else I watched but he was playing some WR's well down the depth chart. Still, he runs 4.46 and has the look. I'm betting on him to make it and contribute due to the dearth of options we have. About time to stop saying what a great coach Joe Whitt is... these guys are awful on a consistent basis.
Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."
