I was wondering what people thoughts were about Tramon Williams. People seemed happy to bring back House, who left two years ago, got released and was now a FA again, just like Williams.
Tramon is now 34, but he has shown he can still play well enough to be on the field, even as the Browns were trying to force young guys into the line up for growth and future. And Tramon says he wanted out after he'd have a 3rd new defensive coach in 3 years if he stayed, and we're ready to win now.
Teams normally keep 6 CBs and the Packers currently have only 5 clear guys making it with House, Randall, Rollins, Gunter and King... of course... the Packers also like having the last spot for ST/growth potential guy... that guys like Goodson, Hawkins, Waters and a whole lot of UDFAs (and remember Williams, Shields and Gunter all started out as UDFAs)
Any thoughts?
