Rodgers had more time to throw, AJ Hawk found a new position he likes, and the Packers came out a frustrated, angry and motivated bunch.

This team reminded me of the Packers of yesteryear when they won 13 games.

Packers should go 11-5 if this keeps up. I for one like the move of Hawk to MLB.

Grant also looked like the Grant of yesteryear. He was elusive, hit hard, and ran hard. Most of all, the INTENSITY was back by the whole team.

It took the OUTSTANDING defensive backfield play vs the Vikings last week to get the Packers out of the shell but now that we're out, will we stay there?

I think this intensified team is going to be tough to beat rest of the way. I am finally excited to be looking forward to next week's game.

What does tho others think? Will we BE the team to beat now?

Our O-line was manhandling the Bears yesterday.
On Grant's TD run, the whole O-line had the Bears D pushed into the endzone. If they can keep blocking like that, and keep the defenders off AR, there's no one we can't beat.
Of course thats IF they play like they did yesterday.
What i really liked was Aaron Rodgers showed no "happy feet" because of the way he was abused the last few weeks. He was poised and not rattled.

The biggest difference for me personally is that no matter what Pack93z throws up to start a thread, I have promised myself that I will not complain about, whine about, bitch about, and/or recommend replacement of... the offensive line and/or players contained therein. (This is not a technical bitch, so I get a waiver --- we have seen this before--- just when I'm ready to totally give up on these guys, they come out and play like they actually belong in the NFL). I want that line, not the one we have seen so much of this year... and that's technically not a bitch or complaint either. Nice job, offensive line... this time you actually did surprise me, in a good way. AJ played great, the chill played great-- that did not surprise me at all. Justin wasn't bustin' either... my boy played hurt, can you friggin' believe it? This will also shut the big yaps of those calling for MM's head, less so TT's... or at least attenuate the hatred. These are all good things, imo. We aren't out of the woods yet, actually, we are just entering them, along with da bares and vikes. the biggest difference is that (boy scout analogy), we are entering with a spring in our step and a nice tight field marching pack... bares and vikes fans are dragging their feet, and their sleeping bag has come loose and is dragging the ground as they sloth forward reluctantly.

LOL... I only speak the truth.. and I kept a damper on it for the better part of the year.. but look.. if you seem to harp on the area enough, like last year it seems to get addressed..

They played a damn fine game, the oline as well as the whole team, if they play like that minus the few early doh's.. I won't harp any other time on them.

Then again, judging by the performance verse the amount of crap I spewed upon that group.. maybe I should continue.. if you want I can dissect about 5 to 7 plays that we had issues along the line.. I was taking notes yesterday...

Tauscher had a bonafied grade A day.. Wells probably graded out the best next.. and Spitz, Cliffy and Colledge ranked slightly below that.. I took note of Sitton late in the game, now we know why he isn't playing Sundays yet.. just not ready for the big show quite yet.

[strike]Right at the beginning that friggin' Spitz AND Colledge (along with DD---AGAIN)... with the GD PENALTIES...[/strike] oh, wait a sec. that bitch/whine/complain theme was last week. :thumbleft:

EDIT--

And I hope someone took that ref to Curly's after the game to hoist a few on our behalf- you know, the ref that called offensive holding when all million plus of us Packerbackers watching in Lambeau, on tv at home or in the bar, listening on the radio, or via some bootleg stream... were SURE it was going to go against AL.... :thumbleft: :thumbleft:

They made a comment at halftime that this was the first week Rodgers had really been able to practice. I'm sure it helped him feel more comfortable and confident, and it must have helped the o-line as well, because they were outstanding.

What I liked best of this game was the whoopin they gave the bears took some fur off their butts  it will be a good week.

I think the biggest difference from last week to this week, was I did not wear my Jennings jersey last week, but did this week. That was clearly the difference yesterday.

And maybe me not whippin' out the lord in vain, or those stupid joss sticks, or karma, or joss houses, or confucius, or whatever the hell I was comin' up with week-to-week... I do have an angle on some ancient Mayan crap that seemed effective, of course they are virtually extinct as a race, so I guess I better factor that in as well.....maybe something in some native american action... they have gone through some tough times, undoubtedly, but I was in the Viegas casino in California a few years back, and I'd call that reflective of a very good rally at least as I was personally involved financially.

Mucky Tundra (2h) : Other scenario was Falcons+Rams losses
Mucky Tundra (2h) : Needed a Falcons loss for a Seahawk loss to clinch
buckeyepackfan (2h) : Am I wring in saying if Tge Vikings beat The Seahawks, The Packers clinch?
Mucky Tundra (21-Dec) : Agreed; you stinks
Zero2Cool (21-Dec) : I'm not beating anyone. I stinks.
Mucky Tundra (21-Dec) : rough injury for tank dell. guy can't catch abreak
beast (21-Dec) : So far the college playoffs have sucked... One team absolutely dominates the other
beast (21-Dec) : Well even if you weren't positive towards a guy, you wouldn't nessarily want to tell the media that (if they don't know about it)
Martha Careful (21-Dec) : I think MLF want Love to look past the end half issues, and feel good about his play. Our coaches generally keep a very positive tone.
beast (21-Dec) : I think a great running game will do that for most QBs
packerfanoutwest (21-Dec) : Coach Matt LaFleur has said quarterback Jordan Love is playing the best football of his career.
beast (21-Dec) : Oh, that's how you keep beating buckeye, with cheating
Zero2Cool (20-Dec) : There is a rule that if your name starts with 'b' you lose 15 points. Hey, I don't make the rules, I just enforce them!
wpr (20-Dec) : and then there is Beast. Running away with it all.
beast (20-Dec) : As of tonight, 3 way tie for 2nd in Pick'em, that battle is interesting!
beast (20-Dec) : Lions vs Vikings could be the main last game as it could determine division winners or #1 vs #2 seed
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Or if KC needs to win for the #1 seed
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Right now it looks like the only prime worthy games are Det-Minny and KC-Denver (if Denver can clinch a wild card spot)
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : The entirety of week 18 being listed as flex is weird
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Matt LaFleur today says unequivocally "Ted Thompson had nothing to do with the drafting of Jordan Love."
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Apparently, the editing is what pieces comments together. That Ted thing ... fake news.
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : LaFleur "opportunity that Ted Thompson thought was too good to pass up"
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Jordan Love pick was Ted Thompson's idea.
Mucky Tundra (19-Dec) : Kyle Shanahan on signing De'Vondre Campbell as a FA last offseason: “We obviously made a mistake.”
packerfanoutwest (19-Dec) : Alexander’s last season with GB
Martha Careful (18-Dec) : if I were a professional athlete, I would probably look to see who the agent is for Kirk Cousins and then use him
beast (18-Dec) : $100 million fully guaranteed Kirk Cousins gets benched for rookie
Mucky Tundra (18-Dec) : a lower case b
Mucky Tundra (18-Dec) : The real lie is how beast capitalized his name in his message while it's normally spelled with
packerfanoutwest (18-Dec) : haha that's a lie
beast (17-Dec) : Despite what lies other might tell, Beast didn't hate the Winter Warnings, it felt refreshing to Beast for some reason.
Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : whiteout uniforms in general are pretty lame and weak. NFL greed at it's worst
Martha Careful (17-Dec) : The Viking uniforms, the whiteout uniforms specifically absolutely suck
beast (17-Dec) : Thanks Zero2Cool, looks a lot better now
beast (17-Dec) : Seems like someone has a crush on me, can't stop talking about me
Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : Should be gooder now. The forum default theme went to goofy land.
Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : What the hell
packerfanoutwest (17-Dec) : yeah beast hates the Winter Warning Unies
Mucky Tundra (16-Dec) : Okay I'm glad to know it's not just something happening to me lol
Mucky Tundra (16-Dec) : Zero, did you copy the Packers uniforms from last night and white out the board?
beast (16-Dec) : Oh crap, is the board going to the Winter Warning Uniforms too?!? It's all white on white right now!
Zero2Cool (16-Dec) : WR Odell Beckham Jr is officially a free agent after clearing waivers.
Zero2Cool (16-Dec) : Packers are 6th in sacks.
Zero2Cool (16-Dec) : RB David Montgomery will undergo season-ending knee surgery.
Mucky Tundra (16-Dec) : Dan Campbell on onside kick with 12 minutes left: In hindsight, wish I didn’t do that
Zero2Cool (16-Dec) : They have that whole 12th man thing so ...
Zero2Cool (16-Dec) : Of the times we've played there, I just can't recall hearing our fans.
