I believe it was reported that they are working towards a long term deal with Cook. I sure hope how working with Rodgers and being treated as a huge part of this offense means this deal will get done. He has made a huge difference to this team since returning from injury.

I believe it... I'm not sure Rodgers knew he was going to target Cook or not, but Rodgers seems more comfortable out of the pocket and he had scrambled out of the pocket to the right so often the Cowboys were expecting it... so I believe Rodgers purposely had a scramble to his left called to trick the pass rush, and told all the targets to go to different routes to the left, giving him maximum number of potential targets and he would just nail whom ever he thought was best open, and that happened to be Cook.

That's just my guess... they might not have a play call for that.

But it’s hard to kind of put a name necessarily on a play where we have a roll-out with a clear-out and everybody else kind of running to the left. Didn’t exactly have a name for that.

Rodgers called it school yard and he and beast were head of the class.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Edit, Ted Thompson said this about Jared Cook just the other day.

I don’t know that I ever expected a dramatic play like I got the other night. I’m not sure I’m that good a scout, but he’s a professional football player, and I mean that in a complimentary way, and he always was. The people he worked with that I talked to expressed those sentiments, and he’s been that. He’s uncharacteristically missed quite a bit of time, and he hasn’t in his history, so I don’t know if I need to get on him about that.

TheKanataThrilla (27m) : Exactly buck...Washington came up with the ball. It is just a shitty coincidence one week later
buckeyepackfan (28m) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (30m) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.
buckeyepackfan (36m) : Turnovers rule, win the turnover battle, win the game.
packerfanoutwest (37m) : well, he was
TheKanataThrilla (41m) : Eagles down by contact on the fumble....fuck you NFL
Mucky Tundra (1h) : I think this games over

Mucky Tundra (1h) : This game looks too big for Washington
packerfanoutwest (5h) : that being said, The Ravens are the Browns
packerfanoutwest (5h) : Browns, Dolphins have longest AFC Championship droughts
packerfanoutwest (5h) : As of today, Cowboys have longest NFC Championship drought,

Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (24-Jan) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no

beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
