The Texans aren't good...period.Neither are the Lions.Washington was in the playoffs last year and so were we.Neither team was very good.

You just lambasted me for glossing over peoples wonderful points.Tell me who Detroit beat this year? They were a bottom feeder. The Texans are an embarrassment. How they're in the playoffs is curious to me.

If I ask you point blank...Do you think the Texans and Detroit are good teams your response will likely be tangential:THEY'RE BOTH IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!!That isn't an answer to the question.

You said the Packers beat NOBODY. I pointed out that THREE of the SIX teams (stop me if you freaking heard this before) were in the playoffs. Thus, they are NOT half dozen NOBODY's as you proclaim.

Good is a relative term that can change from one persons perception to another persons.

For the sake of this right here right now, I'm going define "good" as in a team that I feel could compete for the Super Bowl.

Eagles, no.

Texans, no. Good defense, but absolutely nothing at QB worth bragging about.

Seahawks, yes.

Bears, no. Defense vastly improved over last portion of season, but no. QB play killed them. Awesome RB though.

Vikings, no. Very good defense, but their OL was their Achilles even though their QB set an NFL record for completion percentage.

Lions, if Slay is 100%, I would say yes, but without one of the top 5-7 CB's in the NFL (yes, he is that underrated) I just don't think Cinderella has enough pixy dust to last through midnight. No.

Under that definition, the only team I can say is good would be Seahawks.

The thing with saying what team is good and what team is not doesn't make sense. The NFL is about situations and matchups.

In the playoffs there are 12 teams and I would only say 8 of them are good and legitimate contenders for the Super Bowl - in my mind anyhow.

FACTOID:
GB is 5-2 v. playoff teams [And 2 loses came with doppleganger Tommy Wrigglesworth at QB; what would happen if Rodgers was playing QB?]
Dallas 3-2
NY 3-2
Atl 2-2
Seattle 3-1 [1-1 v NFC teams and thumped by us]
Lions 0-5

6 game winning streaks are rare; because even if you are better than all 6 teams, the odd of winning all 6 is low. When better teams lose, its usually to a divisions foe or a road game. In these 6 games GB faced 3 PO teams, 3 division foes, 3 road games, and 2 division foes on the road. This running of the table was epic to get Musscy the win!!!

Don't know why this just doesn't change to alllaboutuffda.com

No reason to post.

Ted Thompson sucks.
Mike McCarthy sucks.
Only Aaron Rodgers has any talent, and that is being wasted because of the former.

Uffda will hijack any and every thread just to, in his mind, prove he is s better, more knowledgable fan than you.

He will spend whatever amount of time and posts to prove this.

In his mind whoever post most and LAST proves he is right.

The oldest trick in the book, just keep posting utter nonsense over and over again and sooner or later everyone else will just stop.

alllaboutuffda.com. Its here until opening day next year.

I'M OUT!!

GO! PACK! GO!

It isn't all about me although when I'm here some others sure make it about me. Don't. I will then not speak to my mindset or myself because there'll be no reason to.

Good is a relative term. Your opinion is your assessment of that relativity. Are the Texans good? NO. Are the Detroit Lions good? NO. Is Seattle good on the road? NO. These are pretty simple and clear cut in my mind. This isn't terrible for me to bring up. Teams need signature wins to prove they're a force. Seattle got theirs with a remarkable road win at NE. The only win we had all season that I feel even a little good about is the one vs. Seattle but Seattle is a different team away from their soundbox. Not really different than when we would lose to Dallas all the time in Big D but throttled Dallas when we finally got them at Lambeau. Beating NY in Round 1 would be nice but nothing that would get me lathered unless we rout them. Their D is formidable and the only one to really stop Dallas, twice. Their O is erratic. I fear this time we won't see what we saw out of them last time. If there's going to be a rout I think the odds are much better we're on the wrong end of that. I think Dallas is horribly overrated, however, if we go down there and Rodgers lights them up ala Atlanta from 2010, I will believe wholeheartedly like you do.

6 game winning streaks do happen in the NFL. It is not any more right to say it justifies some type of greatness than to say it doesn't. Of course, seeing it's the Packers, of course, it will be seen as the former rather than the latter. Meanwhile, while Minnesota was on it's streak, I was waiting for that bubble to pop and it did and down went Goliath, hard. Watching the purple crazies whip themselves into a SB lather due to their early winning streak was priceless. You knew it was going to come crashing down hard and it did. I'm not as sure we'll crash as hard. I don't believe in our D...but I know and have seen Aaron carry this team on his back. It's unlikely he'll do that for 4 games more but it is remotely possible. Giants are no juggernaut. Dallas has a D that Rodgers can torch as does Atlanta. I don't believe he'd torch Seattle at Seattle if it came to that. It would just be nice to have a better team like the one we were thought to possessed before the season. However, the D is still terrible and Shields left weakening a weak position. We still have no LB's and our pass rush leaves a lot to be desired. To put so much on the O to win is unfair.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Well......we can beat the Giants.
Hopefully the Lions can pull off a HUGE upset against the Seahawks.
Then we go to Atlanta, and do what we did to them in 2010.
The Lions go into Dallas, and because the Lions suck, catch the Cowboys sleeping at the wheel and beat them also.
NFC title game, Packers VS. Detroit in GREEN BAY!!!!
(I can dream, can't I?)

dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'

Zero2Cool (23-Jul) : Suppose if locker room is main issue, we sitting pretty
wpr (23-Jul) : I thought so Mucky. In those useless player polls GB always rates high overall. Locker is a part of it.
Mucky Tundra (23-Jul) : Wasn't the locker room just updated like 6 or 7 years ago?
Zero2Cool (23-Jul) : I have forum updated on different site. We'll see how this one goes before going to that
