Shouldn't you be more excited or something?

On a serious note, this week or when?

Awesome! Make sure to park further away from the stadium so you can leave easier.

Nerd's old blog .

Now that football season is here once again, the forums are full of questions from first time visitors to the Frozen Tundra, asking about tips and restaurants for their pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Well, instead of cutting and pasting this stuff year after year, I have decided to just post the stuff here, and then I can repost the link when people inquire. Thank you. NOTE: Some of this stuff might be dated, as I haven't lived in Green Bay for a few years.

1: Parking for games at Lambeau Field: Park on the back streets. There is an area across the street from Lombardi Ave. You can pay to park on peoples lawns, but if you get there early enough, you can get a spot on the street. Then you walk west a little bit on Shadow lane and there is a catwalk cutting through to Lombardi. You can cross to the stadium there. If you know someone in town, have them drop you off on Shadow Lane, then you can meet them back there after the game. You can really miss out on the traffic jam with those back roads. Go down Spence St to get to and from Shadow Lane. Remember, get there early! There's plenty to do in the Atrium. Check out the Packers Pro Shop! Google maps.

2: Here are some good restaurants.
-Krolls has good hamburgers and malts. They toast the bun and put butter on the burgers. There is one across Ridge Road from the Stadium. It will probably be crowded. As with everything, get there early. Or you can go to the one on the East side. It's on Main St. near Deckner.
-Cafe Espresso, on Washington on the east side. Most beautiful waitresses around.
-Maria's has the best Mexican food anywhere. I think it's on Broadway and Walnut. Way better than Los Banditos. Cheaper and more authentic, although I'm not sure if they serve alcohol.
-Kavarna is a coffee shop on the west side, on Broadway. They also have food. This place is popular with people who like young gay men.
-Hinterland Brewery is pretty good, but it's expensive. Excessively so, to keep the riff raff (such as myself) out. What's the place across the street from there that's the old railway building? That's a restuarant too now I guess. Titletown Brewery? Supposed to be pretty good. Those are on Walnut or Main on the west side, right down by the river. Titletown has that old football statue that used to be at the Packer Hall of Fame.
-Homgren Way has alot of cool sports bars. Also Brett Favre's Steakhouse is there. There's food, memorabilia stores, stuff like that. Go a couple blocks east from the stadium on Lombardi Ave.
-Fuzzy's, owned by Fuzzy Thurston. He might be there. It's on W. Mason St. Nice place.
-Victoria's on Riverside Dr, out by the University. Pretty good Italian.
-My old hangout was Country Express, which is a truck stop off hwy 172 and I think G in Bellevue. Good burgers and stuff, cool waitresses, their Italian food is slightly bland.
-Don't know what is there now, but there's probably a club at the former location of Nick Barnett's Club 56. Before that it was Za's and before that it was The Pitcher Show. It was like a restaurant that would serve beer but also show movies.
-Take your girlfriend to Sass, on Broadway!
-If you want pizza, try Sammy's. There's one on Oneida St, south of the Stadium. What's that pizza place on Bellevue on the east side? They had good pizza back in the day.

3: Iirc, on Saturdays, they give Stadium Tours. Pretty cool. The Packers Hall of Fame is across Oneida St. Check it out!

Feel free to leave comments if I've forgotten anything! Thanks.

There's links to all the shit at the original, but I'm not transposing all that shit.

One forum member mentions the Stadium View Bar. That is a very popular locale.

Had the fortune to be at lambeau twice once in 96 on a Monday nite ot win against the niners and in 2000 favre outdueling Peyton and the colts in a shootout , was extremely awesome, the only 2 places that match lambeau are 2 places I get a chance to frequent 100s of times are yankee stadium and beloved Madison square garden !!

Martha Careful (3h) : Chicago produces a pope before it produces a 4000 yard passing quarterback
wpr (3h) : HAHAHA Mucky Comment of the day.
Mucky Tundra (4h) : According to reports, Mel Kiper is furious that Sanders wasn't selected as the new Pope
Zero2Cool (5h) : Time taken to get picked:
Zero2Cool (5h) : New Pope: 2 days | Shedeur Sanders: 3 days
Zero2Cool (6h) : Collin Whitchurch @cowhitchurch · 1h Chicago got a pope before it got a QB to throw for 4,000 yards in a season.
Mucky Tundra (6h) : New Pope from Chicago; in other words, the city produced a Pope before a 4000 yard passer
beast (7-May) : My first name starts with R and my beer belly is quite voluptuous! Thank you for noticing 😏
Zero2Cool (7-May) : beast, you're just one R from being voluptuous.
Zero2Cool (7-May) : And now some Packers blogger is like Doubs to Steelers makes sense!!!!
Zero2Cool (7-May) : You saw me Tweet???
beast (7-May) : Supposedly Steelers will be trading WR George Pickens to the Cowboys for a 3rd and late round pick swap
Zero2Cool (5-May) : Ravens release Justin Tucker, err D. Watson Jr?
Zero2Cool (5-May) : Cardinals have signed TE Josiah Deguara.
Zero2Cool (5-May) : If I were to "Google" it, then I wouldn't read it in your words.
Martha Careful (5-May) : Yes, in the military S2’s work on IPB, PERCEC, PHYSEC and IO
dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
beast (4-May) : NFL really needs to fix their position labeling issue, but I don't think they care
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Packers did not activate the fifth-year options for linebacker Quay Walker, with the goal of signing him to a contract extension.
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Matthew Golden spoke with Randall Cobb before draft. Looked like chance encounter.
packerfanoutwest (1-May) : from a head left turn?
packerfanoutwest (1-May) : someone drunk?
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Unlikely.
dfosterf (30-Apr) : How long until Jeff Sperbeck's family sues John Elway ?
Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : Packers are exercising the fifth-year option on DT Devonte Wyatt, locking in a guaranteed $12.9M for the 2026 season.
beast (30-Apr) : Sounds like P Luke Elzinga has a rookie try out opportunity from the Titans
dfosterf (30-Apr) : Luke Elzinga Punter Oklahoma stil unsigned. Green Bay has been mentioned as good fit
beast (30-Apr) : The Packers re-signed three exclusive rights free agents WR Melton, P Whelan and RB Wilson.
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : February 5, 2002 (age 23) ok no. packers.com is wrong
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Micah Robinson is only 19??
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : 6 first rounders on Packers defense now
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : LB Isaiah Simmons. Signed. Called it!!! Oh yeah!
Martha Careful (29-Apr) : ty bboystyle...fat fingers
bboystyle (29-Apr) : Tom*
Martha Careful (28-Apr) : RIP Packer Safety Tim Brown
beast (27-Apr) : Yeah, but also some of the wording suggestions Jax only pranked called the QB, not the others... and if he had an open spreadsheet & 3 calls
beast (27-Apr) : Thank goodness he's not leaving the Turtle in the Red Tide
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : Cowboys 1st round pick Tyler Booker will indeed be bringing his pet turtle to Dallas with him
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : that contained all prospects info and contact
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : beast, according the Falcons statement Jax came across it on an ipad. If I had to guess, probably an open spread sheet or something
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : Simmons put up an emoji with cheese.
beast (27-Apr) : Not sure anyone is interested in Isaiah Simmons... Collin Oliver might of taken his potential slot
beast (27-Apr) : I'm going with Jax Ulbrich is not telling the whole truth... he accidentally came across it? Why would a defensive coordinator have a QB #?
