Mike Daniels has same plan for OBJ: 'I try to get under everybody's skin'

Mike Daniels is going to try to get under Odell Beckham Jr.'s skin on Sunday night.

There, someone in the Green Bay Packers' locker room finally said it.

In a week where just about every player on the roster was asked about the New York Giants receiver's antics and his penchant for losing his cool, leave it to the Packers' vocal defensive tackle to come right out and say it.

Except he'd say that no matter who was next on the schedule.

"I try to get under everybody's skin," Daniels said. "That's just who I am. I don't care who you are. High school, college, the professional level, I've played against some of the most meek, calm, some of the guys with the greatest poise, and I'm going to find a way to agitate them. That's just the type of player I am, so it doesn't matter who it is."

I'm glad to hear that they plan on knocking Beckham off his square.
Hopefully he gets the boot early.

The best way to get players off their game is to beat them with execution not mindtricks. You can get in their head with both but it's only effective if you're beating them first.

I think they know that and the coaches know that but when you say it it just plants the seed. I'm sure OBJ will hear about this and even if his reaction is to blow it off, which he should, its already there. I also think its a little easier for Daniels to say this because I hope to God he won't be the one covering him. If he can get in a little extra bump early on so much the better. You are right though. How many times have we seen the mind games backfire? Its like the guy celebrating a sack when his team is down by 4 scores in the 4th quarter. OBJ will be laughing his behind off at Daniels' comments if he can put up numbers like Diggs and Jones did

It seems that Beckham is one of those guys, so it doesn't hurt to work on him.
