I still think with where the ball was thrown and Jennings' position, it would've been an easy TD. No point in me defending it though because it doesn't matter.

The "0" line was really, really bad. Wells was not good recognizing stunts and got out of position helping to one side or the other and Clifton was just no match for Allen.

I am beginning to think we would be stronger in the middle with Sptiz at Center and Sitton at the Left Guard spot. I think that would make us more physical upfront.

As long as we don't mind 1 fumbled snap per game. I'm with the "Colledge at LT" group.

If I am MM, the OL becomes open competition, and I would hope that he reassesses the ZBS. This is just garbage what the line has been doing all year, and particularly as of late.

On another note, if it was not for the outstanding play of our DBs, the defense would be a bottom dweller. Hell, can't even get to the QB bringing two extra....just embarrassing.

O-line and D-line suck.
If we have to face an even half way decent RB, we are screwed.

The o-line is as bad as it can be. We were lucky AR didn't get knocked out for the season. A high school JV line could do that well.
If AR would have had the amount of time Free-Rot had, we would have killed them.
But as long as the O-libe is that bad, we won't win anything.

Trash the zone blocking scheme NOW, and PRAY that we can start gaining some yards on the ground.

The problem with we know what the problem has been is the problem continues exist. The Packers haven't fixed their offensive or defensive line.

There hasn't been any adjustments made or any changes made too it. Personally I want Colin Cole to start at DT ahead of Pickett and Jolly. He's the best interior lineman on the team right now, but the coaches are too stubborn to make a move. Cole should see more snaps than anyone guy on the line not named Aaron Kampman. Instead he gets minimal snaps while Pickett and Jolly get beat off the ball every time.

Why is Jeremy Thompson starting ahead of Michael Montgomery?

I think Josh Sitton is a better play at guard than Colledge is. When Sitton was in against Tennessee, Grant was averaging 4 yards a carry. Well above his average with Colledge. Yet against Minnesota, it was the same old guys.

Last year the Packers were able to get a pass rush with the front four in the first half of the season. In the 2nd half that wasn't the case. Bob Sanders wouldn't blitz and wouldn't mix it up and it's part of the reason why GB didn't get a shot at New England and New York Giants did.

That has carried over this year.

The coaches are stubborn, that's the only thing I can think of.

All I watched all game long was our o-line. I knew this would be a huge test to see where the o-line is, and they failed miserably. I think Rodgers was a little afraid to throw downfield with his shoulder, as well. It's a very disappointing loss, but with the way AP plays, I figured we'd give one up to the Vikes this season. That doesn't make it any easier to digest the loss, but it really shows what we need to work on. We've all had questions about the o-line going into the season, so it's really no big surprise that they got exposed the way they did. Hopefully something can happen between now and Sunday, cause two loses in a row to divisional opponents won't sit well.

I was at the game. In warmups, Aaron was launching 50-60 yard bombs like they were nothing. His arm is fine. If anything, he didn't want to open up and let one fly because he knew if he did, Leber or Allen or Williams or Williams or Edards or etc. etc. etc. would put there helmet in his ribs. I don't blame him. the o-line yesterday was abysmal. Totally embarrassing. I hate the loss, because of how ugly many Vikings fans were to me, and because of the fact that they played "Bang the drum all day" on the PA after Crosby missed the late field goal. But, the Packers didn't deserve to win. I agree, we need an overhaul on the O-line, and I'm thinking along the same lines as 93z. Move Colledge out to where he's supposed to play, and solidify some decent guards. And for crying out loud, pull it together and get them to stop killing drives with mental-error penalties.

Thanks for the insight. There just seemed like there was something brewing in his head that wouldn't allow him to throw. Being nailed to the ground repeatedly is as good motivation as any to keep the throws quick and short.

he was getting pressured before he finished his drop-back most of the time. hard to load up for a long pass if you're being tackled before you can even drop back. our o-line played as badly Sunday as i've ever seen them play.
