Yeah that's an unnecessary article, maybe he just needed to fill a page with something. Our WRs behind Cobb weren't a problem last night.

Speaking of Cobb, GB needs to give Montgomery and Abbrederis a legit shot at the starting slot role next year. McCarthy probably will guarantee it to Cobb but with the way he played this year he needs to be put on notice. If he wasn't the starter he still has value as a ST/WR/RB gadget guy so it wouldn't even be a total waste.

I agree, but will McCarthy adjust the offense accordingly? I don't like Cobb rushing from scrimmage because that's a hell of a way to get a receiver killed, but being the screen guy and running drag on third down would be Cobb's bread and butter.

Look at Cobb as a "Darren Sproles" kind of guy. And Ty Montgomery as an explosive "Sproles" type of guy. Abby needs to bulk up to stay healthy. He's the PR guy.
