Meh, too bad we really don't need him.

I agree with you on that we don't need him. He seems to get burned quite often, and the only thing he has going for him are his speed and hands. He's more of an interception master than a good cover guy. But that's just my opinion ofcourse.

I'm sure he'll be signed soon enough again though, since he might be an upgrade over quite alot of guys atm, especially since he returns quite good aswell, just not on a big contract anymore.

I was just curious to think what others though about getting him in Green Bay? Hes a young good CB and i was thinking maybe moving Harris to safety just a thought. We would have great replacements for Harris and Woodson when they decide to hang it up, after all they aren't getting younger. But i guess we have to wait till he is officially cut by the Raiders today. One plus they say the 2 teams that might try and pick him up are Dallas and Washington so maybe grab him just to prevent them from getting him.

Sorry Zero didn't see a thread for this in the nfl section so you you move this there

I figured this thread to be started soon..

I would forgive his failure in Oakland.. as that team is in a tailspin this year, well several.. but his actions in Atlanta didn't speak of a team player.. and honestly.. his play has slipped yearly since his rookie year..

Second part.. you are playing with fire on that 16 million dollar guarantee he signed.. basically.. if he suffers a serious injury we assume the contract.. and if he hits the free market.. we won't pay him what he probably will get from some hunger and silly (ahmmm Jerry) owner with a soft spot for trouble.

No deal for me.

Tramon Williams is a better bump corner at this point.. comparing them currently.. is he better than Bush.. yes.. but something tells me Hall won't be happy with special teams duty. 😉

I don't see it. I can imagine now teams very happy to go after him rather than Harris and we are already more than good at safety. Now if we were lousy at safety and Harris was no longer as good as he is at CB it would be a different story. We don't even know if Harris could be as good at safety as who we have back there anyhow. I know he doesn't hit people like the other three.

I think that move would make us a weaker team and maybe considerably weaker. I mean you reward good play with extensions and poor play with releases. Hall is getting released and I am sure they have their reasons for it.

One seriously has to wonder if Davis isn't throwing Jones a bone here with Hall.. releasing him with the 16 million dollar balloon attached to it ensured that no one would claim him on the waiver wire.. thus he is going to become a free agent.. the Cowboys are starved for a corner..

It will be interesting to see if these two business men don't do business this coming draft or else wise..

I can almost guarantee that Hall is a Cowboy in the matter of this weekend.. how they get him under the cap remains to be seen.. a complaining Greg Ellis cut anyone?

We really don't need him.. maybe if Harris and Blackmon were out for the season then i'd say pick him up.. like Rock said he's not really a good cover guy, he left some of his skills in Atlanta..i dunno what it is, once you go to Oakland, your career is fucked. He used to be a good over all corner but now he's just the guy that will make that INT every now and then and blow some coverages. I could be wrong but I don't really see him as the player he once was.

Zero2Cool (3h) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (3h) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (5h) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (6h) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (6h) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (7h) : Thank you
wpr (7h) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (7h) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (7h) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (7h) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (7h) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (7h) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (7h) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (8h) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (8h) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (8h) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : what's so funny?
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Bears are finalizing a deal to hire Ben Johnson as their head coach. (via @tompelissero )
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : Looks like Lions OC Ben Johnson is going to be the Bears coach
