I agree with the rest but Janis is one thing I don't get. We have constant miscommunications and drops by the guys who are playing now so I don't see the harm in letting Janis get more snaps. Everyones talked about Davante's bad games but even look at James Jones. He's has 2 games in the last 3 where he was the starting outside WR and played every snap against weak secondaries and didn't catch a single pass. It's not even possible for Janis to have less of an impact than that lol. They don't have to make him a starter but he should get more than 10 snaps. Maybe he hasn't earned more snaps himself but IMO Jones and Adams have more than earned having less snaps. It's not like this offense has very far to fall if Janis doesn't work out.

Hell Janis had more of an impact on our offense Thursday as a returner than both starting WRs combined (and that's with just 1 return). That's pathetic.

I agree that if the reason for holding him out is inconsistency, well, it's getting tougher to justify others in front of him right now. I was just using him as an example of how accountability is displayed even if not stated publicly.

I'm not 100% in on JJ but as tou said steve, what's the alternative right now? MM alluded to changes in his post game, and it's hard not to envision an increased role for JJ being one of those.

I'm starting to feel that Janis has earned a shot on O.

Get him the ball on a short route, facing the QB. See if we can get him into the open field. He's been doing it on kick offs.
