Jared Abbrederis had a four-catch, 57-yard performance in one of the few bright performances in the Packers’ 18-16 loss to the Detroit Lions.

"Poor man's Jordy Nelson," that's how I look at him.

His ability isn't in question, it's whether he can stay healthy.

I've been waiting for word on his ribs. Initially I feared it was concussion based on his reaction on the sideline, luckily it's not and it would appear at worst he'll miss Minny, if even that.

I think Abbrederis is a lot more like Cobb in terms of on the field play.

I was thinking the same thing while watching live, then he didn't come back in the last 6 minutes (just two series) of the game and he was evasive when asked about being injured. Normally if it's just the wind, they shrug it off as "nah, im good man, just got the wind knocked out". It also looked like he got hit on the side, not sure, but I don't think you can get the wind knocked out on the side.

Hopefully it's nothing and he's back. It'd be great to have Cobb, Adams, Jones, Montgomery and Abberderris.

At best, he'll only miss Minn. Realistically, he will miss the rest of the season. Worst case, is career ending.
