We use to have some real cheap shot artists like Bill Romanowski, John Lynch, Mark Carrier, that safety from Jackonsvilee that damn near decapitated Robert Ferguson; and many more. There is a lot few dirty hits in the league than their use to be.

That's true. I remember guys in the 1960s close lining people and literally punching guys during plays.
The cheap shots arnt as often as before.
Still, they need to make the punishment fit the crime. One game? That's insane in my view.
That just tells players that you won't get a serious punishment if you try to take someone's eye out.

Aqib Talib should be suspended, no question about it.

The hit on Teddy Bridgwater. I have only seen it once or twice and didn't really see it as malicious at all. Yesterday I read Adrian Peterson felt the same way. It almost looked like the player was trying to pull up and twist out of the way and unfortunately hit Teddy in the head. Guess I'll have to watch the play again.

Kevin I posted the video, and i read others say he was twisting his body to miss him, but I call BS on that because he is a defensive back and that is how they tackle now. Very few use their arms they throw their shoulders at guys. Watch our DBs and you will see them doing this all the time, unless of course their are trying to pull away from hitting the guy as they are claiming with this guy.

He went for the head it's as plain as day. Look at this and it clearly shows how these DBs tackle and go for the knockout.



Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)
