Does anyone fear the rushing defense for the 49ers? They did hold Adrian Peterson pretty darn well.

I understand the chip, but I think he made a bunch more money and is in a better place because how things worked out. No doubt a bit painful not doing much waiting for your shot behind Favre, but being the day 1 started I seriously doubt he is the same guy we now see. I could be wrong, but that is my opinion on it.

Things worked out pretty well for Aaron and the Pack. He could have gotten drafted earlier by a team with a sh1t O line, receivers and coaches, that are constantly changing. That could have led to serious injury(s) and loss of confidence. He was somewhat injury prone with us early in his career in very limited action. I really, really like how thing worked out.

Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

If they do a decent job containing their running game and make Kapernick beat you with his arm, I like their chances. The 49ers defense isn't nearly as good as it was two years ago when they last played. Even a road game, Packers should win by at least 10 and continue to get the NFC West monkey off their backs.

* Travel to the west coast (we always struggle)
* Short week
* San Francisco
* Kapernick
* Wade predicted a win (we are doomed)

SF is pretty weak right now, and as long as there is no let down, we should be ok.

Honestly watching the week 1 game the Vikings were falling all over themselves... they looked like a bad college team that game more than they looked like a pro team. I don't think the Vikings were just getting warmed up then.
