This is all true, but I think it's a safe bet that the Patriots will seriously be in the hunt for the Super Bowl again this year. They are the defending champs and have looked great through the first two weeks, not to mention that are essentially perennial contenders anyway. What team will slow them down in the AFC? I would say the Colts might have a chance, but I don't know what's going on with that team. The vaunted Bills defense obviously couldn't slow them down. The Ravens that just got beat by the Raiders? The Dolphins that just got beat by the Jaguars? The Andy Dalton-led Bengals? The Bronco's likely won't have much gas left come the playoffs. Maybe the Steelers continue to improve.

Either way, the Patriots are looking like the favorite to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl yet again, at this early juncture of the season. Obviously things can change at any time.

The Packers have made a statement early - especially the way they finished against Seattle. They are looking like a top NFC team this year so far. Other teams that look good in the NFC - Arizona and Carolina. Seattle started with 2 losses, but I think they will do some damage this year. The rest is up in the air, as with any early observations.

Someone asked why I haven't put up any upset pick(s) like last year. It's tough to do so early, but here are two teams that will upset their opponent!

I'll go out on a limb here and say the Redskins double-up on the Giants. Giants are struggling to find answers and Redskins are finding them.

Any of you have an upset this week?

Then I guess I picked an upset hahahaha. I was part of the 10% in a 90/10 split too, although I consider that one a LOCK, not an upset. I'm also part of the 30 in a 70/30 split. I can't remember which game that is.

You never answered my question: Do you do your picks according to your Power Rankings?

Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.

dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
