Barclay will start at Right Tackle in place of Bulaga. He has served as the Packers 6th O-Lineman for years now. He may not be a favorite to some, but he has been there when needed and has experience with this line. His value to this team is beyond the negative post that he receives in this forum.

As we all wish Bulaga a speedy recovery, let's be glad that Barclay is standing in for him and not M.Newhouse !

Hopefully he will be okay... but Rodgers might be running from pass rush pressure if Bulaga isn't 100%.

Fortunately, he is absolutely great at it. Did you see Ol' Peyton finally trying to play under pass rush pressure? Well to Mr. Rodgers' neighborhood.

Others seem to be judging Barclay from hid play in preseason.
Every player coming back from an acl injury is going to have doubts until he actually plays.
I'm hoping Bulaga doesn't miss much time, also am confident Barclay can do the job.

I would hope that Clements sets up some chip blocks off the edge or brings in Kuhn to help with the pass blocking if they are going to decide to roll with Barclay at RT.

With the string of knee injuries Bryan has, it would probably be best to get him the rest that is needed. Would be more helpful if the injury occurred when we weren't facing multiple stout front 7 defenses (Seattle and then KC) but the injury bug and the Packers just seem to go hand-in-hand over the past few years.

Short-term, we should be fine. Long-term, this is scary that he is continually injuring the same knee.

That said, Rodgers has had to flee for his life through most of his career due to shoddy O-line play.

Let's start a pool. How many weeks will Bulaga be out? Over/under is 3.5. I'll take the over.

I think Bulaga will be back for the K.C. game.

I would like to say this is another R - E - L - A - X situation, but I'm not so sure. Our already highly questionable O Line loses probably its second best player - that seems bad. However, Aaron Rodgers has seemed even more mobile up to now this year than in the past, and heaven knows, he has experience with poor pass protection.

As for a replacement, Barclay has been absolute crap this year. We can hope for a miracle that he rises to the level of average, but I kinda doubt that. I hope they take their chances with Tretter or Walker, but somehow I doubt that - seniority seems to overrule quality for the Packers.

We will still win because Aaron Rodgers is just so damn good.

I don't think Barclay has this locked up. We'll see what coach decides.
