Donkey Kong Suh resumed his disreguard for the NFL "rules" by kicking the helmet off a player he had just tackled. Roger Badell, NFL figure head stated "There will be no discipline of Suh, as after watching the tape, the player's head did NOT remain inside the helmet after Suh kicked it. Thus the player did not die. If he HAD died, then you can be sure that we would have taken immediate action, slapping Suh on the wrist and telling him he was a naughty boy."
And the Adam Jones situation was explained accordingly to Badell by Jones. He said "I noticed that the rivet in the back of the helmet of the guy I tackled had come lose, and I was afraid that if I didn't do something to fix it immediatly it could have come loose causing the helmet to come apart and causing a severe head injury. As I had no hammer available to fix it, I grabbed what happebed to be closeset, which was the guys head, and tried to pound the rivet back in.
